Just as soon as she figures out how...

 

Things I have done in the past that have made me feel good, and be healthy:

Lift weights at least two times a week, some weeks three.

Get sweaty on the off days.

Eat appropriate amounts of real food that nourishes.

Does not play a zillion hours of same video game each week.

Does things that involve creating.

Socialize with friends.

 

From these things, a challenge will be born ... maybe with a theme.   Definitely with her accountabilibuddies.

Heeey Thanks Wolf.   I forget how awesome this place is when you keep mega-engaged on it.    This first round of support and encouragement brought such a smile to my face last night.  I think for the next challenge, I am going to completely shut down Facebook, and only come here for good people support without all the super heightened opinions and frustrations of the other place.

Thanks Cap'n!   I always feel a shot of pure badass invigoration when you stop by my thread!  It Tank is the wise shepherd of the guild, you're the commanding officer with the big grin and the strong hands to pull up a fallen recruit.   (I honestly don't know the other leaders too much, except Raxie, duh, but there's still debate on whether or not we are the same person.)

See!  I was just talking about this. ;)  Thanks Shep!  (Wait, I am commander shep!)  Er, confusing!    I took the first big step.   I ordered a barbell for my office at work lol!  (The one I had in the back warehouse, is both still off limits due to covid rules at our warehouse, and also my manager took all the barbells home.  He offered to bring some plates in for me, but I needed my own metal stick.)

Hah, lower the bar!  The bar I just ordered.   Yeah!  I will lift it up, and lower it down!  Then lift it up and lower it down again.   Good advice on this.   Need to do small things at a time to get routine and confidence back.

These are also true things!  Just the sort of info I'd expect out of Good, Advice is my middle name, Doug! :D     I know what I need to do.  Just need to do it!

 

Going to get some beat saber in today and maybe some art before I have to run my big RP event on ESO tonight.   I was a super dork, and I recorded video of my character, then edited it to a blue filter to mimic 'memory or speaking stones' from Elder Scrolls lore, then turned them into gifs and added a message to it.    These will be hints that I share in discord along the way for my guild mates to come rescue my trapped Nord Dragonknight.   It's my very first live event that I am running so I am a bit nervous.  But, it should be good.   People seemed pretty into the spoiler-teasers I've been putting out.

 

We've had like six straight days of clouds and grey, and cold temps, so my mood is really getting hit hard with the SAD season.   Add in expected sharks and it's no wonder I am flailling for motivation.    Also, three nights in a row of poor sleep.  Ugh.      Tomorrow will be better!

I'm on month #3 of being off FB and most other social medias and I can say I don't really miss it. Not even a little. You're right, though, NF is an awesome place when you stay engaged and I find that out so often after being stagnate for a while.

STARPUCK DOES THINGS

As Tsaraji... the Khajiit trying hard to do things well!

 

 

Daily Routine's Keep This One Healthy and Sane, so she will create one, and stick to it!

1)  Create a Daily Routine that is maintainable! 

2)  Complete Daily Routine, ya know, daily. 

 

DAILY ROUTINE:

⯐ Leave for work on time.

⯐ V8 your Veggies

⯐ No eating after 9:30pm

⯐ Track your calories, eat 250 deficit.

⯐ Teeth before Bed, no being too tired/lazy.

⯐ Lights out by 11:15

 

 

Keeping One's Body Well Trained Keeps the Fur Smooth and the Tail Agile, so do not Neglect Training!

1)  Complete 2 Strength Training Sessions/Week 

2)  Complete 3 Sweat Sessions/Week

3)  Stretch after every work out, and 1 Extra Time

 

 

A Wide Variety of Studies Keeps the Mind Sharp and at Peace, this one will hone more than one skill!

1)  Continue to nourish art time again, but don't burn out.   

2)  Return to drawing with the tablet, yes, it will need to have the dust shaken off- show yourself some grace. 

3)  Whatever is Philippians 4:8!!   AKA, Garbage in, garbage out.   Keep studying the good things!

This seems like a lot at first glance, but really, this was the routine I had gotten into for most of the year starting in January.  The only thing that had slipped was art, and Inktober has really helped get me some inspiration back on that.   So we'll give this a go.  I haven't stepped on the scale in weeks.  As I know the exact formula above works - I am not GOING to look at the scale until end of challenge.   I will weigh in (my scale holds measurements) but not look, and then weigh in again at the end.

I also forget how awesome this place is when you keep engaged. I'm trying to get back into it too! I miss my Fitness Family (FitFam) here on NF. Love you guys! 

 

I'm on Facebook mostly for the memes. I rarely post anything else. I'm not too obsessed with it. I don't most my day to day or any real events in my life on my FB.

1)  Create a Daily Routine that is maintainable!  🟦

2)  Complete Daily Routine, ya know, daily.  🟦

 

DAILY ROUTINE:

⯐ Leave for work on time. 🟦

⯐ V8 your Veggies 🟦

⯐ No eating after 9:30pm 🟦

⯐ Track your calories, eat 250 deficit. 🟦

⯐ Teeth before Bed, no being too tired/lazy. 🟦

⯐ Lights out by 11:15 🟦

 

 

Keeping One's Body Well Trained Keeps the Fur Smooth and the Tail Agile, so do not Neglect Training!

1)  Complete 2 Strength Training Sessions/Week 

2)  Complete 3 Sweat Sessions/Week 🟦

3)  Stretch after every work out, and 1 Extra Time

 

 

A Wide Variety of Studies Keeps the Mind Sharp and at Peace, this one will hone more than one skill!

1)  Continue to nourish art time again, but don't burn out.    🟦

2)  Return to drawing with the tablet, yes, it will need to have the dust shaken off- show yourself some grace. 

3)  Whatever is Philippians 4:8!!   AKA, Garbage in, garbage out.   Keep studying the good things! 🟦

Loving the art! I haven't played ESO, but I'm a fan of ES. I've thought about giving it a shot, just haven't.

Today I did a strength workout!  With a barbell!  In my CEO's office!  LOL.  It felt so good to have a barbell on my back again!   I'd been using dumbbells and other stuff since lockdown because we have made a "firewall" between warehouse and office.  No one but one person goes between the two- so I can't use our snazzy box we built back there for working out.  But my manager said he'd bring in some of the plates he took home, if I just had my own barbell here.  (His are in use daily so not an option.)  I did!  And now I get to throw the bar around.  ❤️  Heaven!  Pure heaven.

 

A customer also sent in a Frankenstein box of candy.  But I had just 3 pieces as my afternoon snack today so I feel pretty in control there so far.
