Just dropped by to say Mucho.

I thought it would mean a lot to you.

I think you should get your sense of humour checked. You know, just in case.

Cold showers are going well. Now I'm starting with cold water too. Makes it easier to go back to cold after warm, and body asks for less temperature during that intermediate period.

Stopped breathing cycles because I've got plenty of homework from pelvic floor specialist.

I'm trying to get yoga into my morning routine (I don't truly have a morning routine aside from getting a shower, now that I think of it) and I get to do 10 minutes a few days a week, not everyday though.

I'm not going outside everyday, I've been lazy, but it's not that I'm locked at home either. I took a brisky walk today in the country, the first time I've made it to the top of the hill in a year, although when I arrived I was breathing like a dying man.

I've got Wolvie involved with folding laundry: I fold it, and then she spends a while unfolding it, which gives me some free time to play the piano a bit, which feels so shooting soothing and necessary right now.

Meals are healthy as ever. All of them. Apparently, that nice insuline resistance free period I've been enjoying during pregnancy and the first months after giving birth, is over. I began experiencing some sugar unbalance during past week, so now I'm in full paleo mod.

What do I feel meditation is not there anymore, I've completely forgotten about it.

After some terrible days, Wolvie's sleep is getting sliiiightly better. She takes it well now to stay in bed during her messy period, and the period itself is less messy, so now I usually get half or even one full hour more of sleep in the early morning. Most nights she sleeps in 1:30 hours segments now, which more or less coincide with my cycles, thus I find it easier to go back to sleep after she wakes me up. I haven't even needed a morning nap these past two days, hence my long walk this morning.

Top of the hill,  this made me smile because i know you enjoy those walks a lot. I'm glad you made it up there.

Is this an autocorrect or a strange translation?  Either way so good you're getting a chance to enjoy some music again.  Does Wolvie like the piano?

Those who are bit eat garlic?

The literal translation I think would be "those who get peeved, eat garlic". The verb picarse means to feel alluded and get annoyed about it, and picar is also what you feel when you eat something spicy like garlic, comparing the two sensations.

It's used to answer people who get angry about a comment, to let them know that if they got angry it's because there is some truth in it.

Yes, autocorrect, of course 😏

She likes touching and hitting it, which I don't like that much... But yes, it feels nice to make some music, even if it's just a few minutes and involves folding clothes twice...

Hey! hope you're doing okayish!

First 9 months things change every darn day so it's really hard to set any sort of goals.. the mindset of all or something really worked for me this second time 'round. Just let it all depend on how much sleep you got or how happy the baby is that day. And after 1,5 or 2 years you'll start feeling more like yourself and have more free time etc... I hope that's hopeful instead of depressing x)

Sorry I disappeared after asking about your fitness goals, but yea.. all or something.

I'm sorry I've been away.

I've been fighting some depressing feelings, due to my lack of sleep, and lack of open air.

Things are a bit better now, at least in my head. I still sleep in chunks,  but I usually get around 5 hours per night and that makes things easier.

I've thought I'd go back to my old cozy battle log and regroup. I'm definitely not rebuilding any wolverine. That will have to wait. And I have to think  long-term.

Hope to check on you soon.

5 hour chunks are mush better than the 1-2 hour chunks you were getting before.  Always nice to see you back here :)

Oh, no, the chunks are still of 1-1:30 hours. 5 hours is the total after a whole night 😅

No need to apologize! Sorry to hear you've been struggling though, sleep deprivation is nasty. :( But it's lovely to see you here!

I'm trying to be positive, and appreciate the small changes she goes through, and that gives me patience enough to understand that it is a process, that she is still so very young, and that with time everything will settle. Maybe some day I'll miss that she needs me so much ☺️
