In fact exercise is my antidepressant, and that isn't a joke or metaphor. 10 hours ago, Mad Hatter said: Ooh upgrading to turtle sounds good! (underneath slug is leech, which is a more distressing slug) After turtle is probably a panda bear or something. 2 Quote Let cheese and oxen and mead crowd out our secret desires for power and domination - Harriet the Viking Just be bold, fluid and unapologetic, not small, hairy and indecisive - Harriet the Artist You can absorb me! - Harriet the Contextless Guru Link to comment

Bullroarer Took
When I was a pre-doctoral intern I did behavioral health in primary care. Basically I tried to get everyone who wanted antidepressants to walk a bit, people who wanted sleep meds to stop drinking coffee at 7 pm and everyone to quit smoking! Also I did some work with heart disease and obesity. Most physical health issues have a fairly robust behavioral component and PCP telling people they are overweight and shouldn’t smoke falls short. 😉 1 Quote "For us, there is no spring. Lifting and daily walks are now my anxiety medication, and that's not a metaphor for me either.
