Lm RDL bar+30kg 3x8

incline 42.5kg 10x3

Chins 3x5

curls 3x5 / laterals 2x15

lm press / band high pulls 4x10 / 3x10

 

Back to 10 sets on incline.

 

I need to be careful on chins as have had tendinitis a few times. I’ll add a set per month until 5x5.

 

Added high pulls superset with the landmine press. Good for traps.

 

My calves are really stiff and painful from hiking yesterday. There’s some hikes in St Leonard and Sion I have been looking at. Probably The 5 Lakes, Zermatt next weekend.

I’ve realised that I’ve been doing upright rows with bands instead of high pulls. I’ll make some minor changes to my routine accordingly. Not much will change though.

 

A

Barbell Deadlifts 3x5

Barbell incline 8x3

chin ups sets of 5

close grip ez bar curls / laterals 3x5 / 2x15

landmine press (120 ish degrees) / band rows 

 

B

lm squats 3x8-10

ring dips sets of 5

Pendlay rows 10x3

bb curls / laterals 3x8 / 2x15

lm press (90 degrees) / band rows

Deadlifts 60kg 3x5

incline 45kg 8x3

chins 3x5

curls / laterals 3x5 /2x15

lm press / rear delt rows 3x10 /3x20

 

Added deadlifts.

I took 1 min rest between chins. Was 2 mins before.

I added a superset of rear delt rows in with lm press.

 

Trying a new hike tomorrow. Does not look easy 💀🤪
