It just happens that I am wearing palazzo pants at work right now. My next task to to find them with pockets. Thrilled with them. Though I am displeased with the Amazon seller I bought this pair from. They were advertised as "palazzo pants", but since making my previous post about them, I have learned that this style actually is based on traditional Thai fisherman pants, where you tie the front of the pants around your waist, pull them through the legs and tie the back on. This is comfortable, there is a pleasant cool breeze around the legs as I walk, and they look awesome. But they are not palazzo pants, and I am irritated, as I find this inaccuracy to be disrespectful towards the Thai fishermen who invented this awesome style of pants. They look good though, don't they? 3 Quote The Great Reading Thread of 2023 “I've always believed that failure is non-existent. What is failure? Mistr
Yes. those certainly look attractive and comfortable. I got these, which are similar but don't tie. I also got a pair of very wide leg elastic waist pants, apparently not from Amazon. I now have enough comfy summer clothes and need to resist shopping temptation. To summarize: Challenge efforts were unintentionally abandoned, and the lack of sleep applied its usual destructive side-effects to my daily life. I was growing increasingly frustrated with the way sleeping was not working out for me, until, thankfully, I had my monthly video appointment with my therapist Tuesday evening. She asked pointed questions and offered new perspectives, and suggested that one big obstacle to creating my new bedtime routine was that I already had a routine in place and that following my old routine was a lot less effort than creating the new one. It had honestly not occurred to me that I already had a bedtime routine, so we spent some time talking about that, and about the fact that I am still reluctant to spend too much time sleeping, because I think the things I could do instead are more pleasant and important. So I left Tuesday's therapy appointment with lots of things to think about, which I think is ultimately going to be a good thing. 3 1 Quote The Great Reading Thread of 2023 “I've always believed that failure is non-existent.
