It has been way, way too long since I last had a challenge.

 

I suppose I should post an explanation.

 

Goals: Post something every day.

 

I should be able to manage that.

Maandag, 2 Aug.

 

I got out my 12 item daily to-do list. 

 

Did some cleaning in my room, walked the dogs and did the movement thing.

 

Still breathing.

An excellent challenge when this is the next level-up. Just showing up is the key habit to train.

Dinsdag, 3 Augustus

 

Fiddled around in the garden, made my bed in the morning, sorted through some paperwork, did some stretching and balancing. 

 

Didn't kill anyone. Yet.

Woensdag, 4 Augustus

 

Made my bed for the second day in a row, was in bed before ten. Did little things in the garden, some stretching and movement. 

 

Actually I did send a text message to someone. I think it is the first time in years that I initiated an conversation. 

 

We will not discuss the three large bags of crisps over the last two days.

Donderdag 5 Augustus

 

Made my bed, was busy in the Garden, did stretching and also did 10 incline push-ups and 6 squats.

 

Also logged into Duolingo, and looked at a website I haven't been on in many years. Time to work on those dreams.

Vrydag 6 Augustus

 

Stretching and balancing, push ups, gardening and I made my bed.

 

And I got the message that the only person that I could still call a friend died last week due to covid.  Her mother died early July.

Saterdag 7 Augustus

 

Garden, bed, push-ups, movement.

 

Saturday night movie was Back to the Future.

Sondag 8 Augustus

 

Gardening, movement, push-ups, bed and I read a little

 

Trying to install 13 year old games on 15 year old computers does not work. It has now been five years without the ability to play games, and it sucks.

Maandag 9 Augustus

 

Bed made, gardening, push-ups, movement,  shower.

 

It was supposed to be a public holiday, I had to work.

Dinsdag 10 Augustus

 

Terribly miserable cold and windy day with no sun.

 

Got my first covid injection. No weird happenings but my arm hurts.

 

Made my bed, a tiny little bit of gardening, and I read a little.

Woensdag 11 Augustus

 

And finally was forced to install Zoom to be able to watch the memorial service.

I skipped the gardening and finished my book. Some movement, bed made.

After walking the dogs I was so cold I did the sensible thing and stayed indoors the rest of the night. It is the last cold front of this winter. Another week or two and we will be back in shirtsleeves.

Saterdag 14 Augustus

 

Cold and windy, again.

 

Made my bed, push-ups, movement.

Maandag 16 Augustus

 

And Sundays  post went missing. Not my fault.

 

I finished my little pizza eating challenge . I went through the entire list of pizza's at our local pizza place. It took me a year, 21 pizza, average one every 17 days. I am rather proud of myself for this one, but I will not do it again.

Got one nasty surprise that has destroyed my plans for the coming week, and I have ringworm for the second time in my life.

Movement, gardening, bed made, some cleaning and I finally did some admin I have been putting of for far too long.

 

There should be a long rant here. I just do not have the energy anymore.
