sarakingdom
I not only slept tons, but needed a nap. And honestly could go to bed early tonight. Although I could use another meal, and want to get a small number of jobs that have been lingering around finished. I truly haven't eaten much, so maybe I should at least stay up for more food, and I might as well work a bit while I'm waiting for food. I wish I were in bed, though. 4 Quote I felt like I could run forever, like I could smell the wind and feel the grass under my feet, and just run forever. You had quite the sleep deficit to make up, so needing a nap is no surprise. I like to putter in the kitchen while waiting for food. It is a rare day when there are not clean dishes to put away or dirty dishes to wash. That lets me keep an eye on my food. I have been known to accidently hit 20 minutes on the microwave when I mean to hit 2 minutes. Quote Level 71 Viking paladin My current challenge Battle log Link to comment

sarakingdom
I let my friend talk me into an early wind-down, which is a good habit anyway, so today is getting cut a bit short. Eh, I kept working and got stuff done. And I was hitting the need for mental health breaks and the period where I need to eat so I'm not having dinner at midnight anyway. So we'll call it done and start again tomorrow. So I'm having dinner and doing more Halloweening, and then it's bedtime. Pleasantly, I seem to have a shorter list for tomorrow. Mistr
I helped with our laundry pipeline last night. Two nights ago Elf forgot to put their laundry in the dryer. They put it in the next day, but it was not okay. Monday night Dumbledore did the same thing. He discovered it in the morning and realized right away that it needed to be washed again. He got that going and managed to get a second load washed. Elf got home from work after Dumbledore left for gaming. Elf needed that load of clothes for today. So I took the first load of our laundry out of the dryer and put the second load in, then took the second load out when it was done. I also reminded Elf so that they would have clean, dry clothes waiting this morning. 1 Quote Level 71 Viking paladin My current challenge Battle log Link to comment
sarakingdom
Today is going slowly, though I am steadily either working or taking deliberate brain rest. Just a slow, gray, cold day. Still, I should get at least one and hopefully two lingering things off the list. Then the list will hopefully be a more sustainable queue of things, if I can keep jobs from getting too stuck or too dependent on other things. I'm also doing this on short hours, and I'm hoping that as my rest normalises and I pay more attention to breaks when my brain struggles, I should get a few more hours in the day. Today it took me 12 hours to get 8 hours of rest, and I needed two 45 minute breaks on top of that. I probably won't and shouldn't get rid of the breaks during during day, because I think I need top-ups of brain function, especially if I want to have any at bedtime to get myself to bed, but surely the overall footprint can come down again. It also probably would not hurt if I got put the half-hourly timer again, and planned against it more strongly. This week's movies are Gamera movies, which are, weirdly, the correct sort of autumnal and cozy for the season. 3 Quote I felt like I could run forever, like I could smell the wind and feel the grass under my feet, and just run forever.
