yeah. I struggle with silence. Like, i know pretty well on how to be by myself, but i find it bad to need some kind on background noise all the time. Its getting a little better but i would say its almost some kind of addiction. 

 

And yes, that is hxh indeed. I decided to make that pic my inner shadow :D

Day 14

 

1.            Addiction free days:  6/18 

                nope!

2.            Eating once per day:  7/18           

                Absolutely nope :D

3.            Stretching:  8/18           

                GG!                     

4.            Silence tomato timers:  7/26           

                I haven't done anything 

 

Went hiking, so it wasn't a failure. I am still doing not doing good on this challenge.

Maybe with the silence start with a shorter time?  We have so much noise in our world. While it's wonderful to always be able to listen to a podcast, or hear music, I think you are right that it can be detrimental. We get so we don't listen to our own thoughts. It's a good habit to try and carve out some time each day with out constant noise stimuli.

You are right, The thing is, its hard to just do something productive after a workday. I am basically a zombie right now :D

                Did ok

                Managed to do it      

4.            Silence tomato timers:  8/26           

                It wasn't a tomato timer but i studied in silence on my workplace 

 

Decent day, i tore my leather jacket :(

Its the same as me. I like it this way, its like an extension of me. I understand that this is a difficult and very labor intensive period for me. I am also trying A LOT of different things, so for now i decided to just see it and just have some comments, instead of a 15m talk :D

                Worked out just fine!

2.            Eating once per day:  10/18           

                Done!

3.            Stretching:  10/18           

                Done   

4.            Silence tomato timers:  9/26           

                Read and did the tomato timers :D

 

Awesome day. 10/10. But this challenge is looking dull compared to my daily battle log. I will work on it tomorrow, its only my 2nd challenge after all :D

Nice job today! You mentioned the 15m talk, I wanted to ask, do you talk to yourself? If so, is that something you want to silence, or is it mainly background music you want to silence?

 

I wanted to ask also about the tomato timers. I gather it's about the silence thing, but why "tomato timer"? I am new to the Inglish language please help me. 🐣

Thanks. I basically talk to myself, to my inner shadow. Its an interesting concept and it really helped me with loving myself. I don't want to silence it. i want to talk with it :D

 

I want to use less background noise during the day ( less music, less podcasts, these things). 

 

A tomato timer is basically a timer to do things. For example: You set a timer of 40m, you work for 40m then you get 10m of rest. Then you work 40m then you rest 10m. And so on. I want to not use any background music during these timers

Boring. Its difficult to come up with something funny or interesting. I guess that can be a challenge by itself
