Spent some time chilling in the morning. Went to lunch with the fam and then visited my dad's work so his co-workers could meet BabyG. (A bunch of them have worked with him since I was tiny, so it was fun for them to meet our little girl.) Spent the evening enjoying our little girl. We've started preparing ourselves for when D has to go back to work. The weather has been super nice and we've been spending some much needed time outside. Monday, we went to my Grandpa's and that side of my family got to meet BabyG. Tuesday, BabyG and I went to visit D at work during his lunch break. We went for a walk around where D works and BabyG had her first stroller ride. I can't believe she's two weeks already! (I've also looked at a couple other courses, but not sure yet when I'll start those.) Currently working on the first part of the course, which is an Introduction to HTML5. I'm hoping to work on it while BabyG is taking naps throughout the day when I don't have other things that need done. BabyG and I hung out together and I was able to get some study time in. Had a phone visit for a postpartum appointment, which was so short I was glad I didn't have to go to the office for it. Got caught up on some emails that I had let sit for longer than I should have. 😅 Haven't been doing great with my vitamins. Really need to get them counted out and set in a more visible spot. Almost picked up The Silmarillion earlier this week, but then got distracted by baby needs. Getting so close to finishing though!!! (All the end notes and indexes and stuff don't help my current percentage. lol.) D's family lives a bit of a drive away (about 6-7 hours), so we're waiting on those for a bit because of work and everything, but other than his fam I think most everyone that she needs to meet has met her. The only person I can think of that I would really like to have her meet (aside from D's fam) as soon as we're able to is my Great-Grandmother since I'm not entirely sure how much longer she's going to be around. Yeah, things are starting to settle a bit into more normal of schedule; whatever that means. lol. We're doing well. D is back to work and BabyG and I have just been chilling and enjoying each other. I'm thinking about going to a mommy meet-up tomorrow maybe. Sunday we had church and then pretty much just chilled at home till the evening. We had our last small group meeting before summer. It was a nice time of fellowship and food. Monday BabyG and I just chilled together. Sunday night was a rough night, so lots of sleep was had during the day. Tuesday I took BabyG to go visit one of the ladies I helped clean for on Tuesdays before I stopped working. She was excited to see BabyG and gave her a super soft bunny stuffie. I had to feed her while we were there and it was a little awkward cause I don't know her super well. Wednesday we had a ladies meet-up, which was mostly moms and their kids. It was nice to get out of the house and be around other moms. It was rainy and a bit cold tho, so that wasn't the greatest. Thursday BabyG and I went to visit my Great-Grandmother. It was so nice to see her again. Her memory isn't what it used to be and that's sad to see, but the visit was still nice. Saturday we had a graduation open house for one of my cousins and then an open house event at a local camp. It was nice to see people we hadn't seen in a bit and let family meet BabyG who hadn't met her yet. It felt kind of weird being up at the camp walking around knowing that neither of us are working there this summer. (D has worked there the past 3 summers and I've been there the past 2, plus some of the off seasons in between.) It's been such a blessing to have her sleeping well at night. Vitamins wise, I didn't do as great as I'd have hoped. I didn't count them out at all, which I'm sure played into forgetting them as much as I did. Silmarillion wise, I've still got a bit left to finish.
