Ranger Hal Goes in a Dozen Directions at Once

I discovered Darebee challenges and got all excited, so I’m probably going to do too many things. We’ll see how this goes. Hopefully I don't just stop doing things after a couple of weeks. I'd really like to make it all the way through this challenge. The Darebee challenges are 30 days, but I’m going to modify and do them only on weekdays, so 30 days will last six weeks and that will run through the end of the challenge if I start right now. I’m going to try getting my daily walk at lunch. To that end, I have packed some good shoes and my rain gear (and some extra dry socks) for tomorrow. Let’s do this!

Someone once described achievement-farming their way through all the Darebee challenges, and darned if it wasn't tempting.

A good day. The chair rows were difficult. Maybe because the bar didn't want to stay on the chairs and maybe because I can't do very many. Maybe both.

Most of the ones I picked only take a few minutes, so it's easy to get them done and move onto something else!

I thought Rays and the Last Dragon was fun, but I have to confess that Encanto did not leave as deep an impression on me as it seems to have with pretty much everyone else. I did, however, watch it with my nieces/nephews in a chaotic house while trying to complete a job application, so it really didn't have my full attention.

I was pretty sore after Monday's pushups and was expecting more of the same after Wednesday's, but surprisingly, I'm less sore. I'll take it!

Dang you are killing it! :D

 

I love looking at darebee workouts haha I rarely keep up with them. I did do one of the kettlebell ones a few times though. 

 

I enjoyed Encanto but I wouldn't watch it again probably. I found it hard to understand what they were saying all the time or in the songs.

Yeah, I had a little trouble understanding them as well at times. Maybe I'll watch it again with my mom before I have to return the DVD to the library. She likes to have subtitles on!

You know, I'm not sure I care about going to bed by 11pm on Friday nights. I mean, yeah, if I'm getting up for something on Saturday morning, I probably should, but on the other hand, it's the weekend. If I'm getting a full 8 hours the other nights, maybe I can fudge the weekends.

Haven't slid into one of your challenges in a while.  Hi!

 

What a lovely wall of green last week! 

 

I also started adapting DB plans to suit myself, either switching out their cardio days to running or adding in more rest days than the plan originally calls for.  It's been working well for the times I don't feel like designing my own plan.

Yes, I find Darebee's plans not great when I try to follow them exactly, but they make an excellent base that I just need to tweak a bit.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Workouts and Programs. I find them slightly intimidating. But the challenges are working for now!
