Day 01

Hello!

Felt like starting a journal and update the day counter up above whenever I finished a workout session for the day. The objective is to get to 90 days somehow. Felt like it was a good way to stay accountable with this whole challenge (is this even the right word? Bah, I don't know).

Also, secondary objectives (update 8/4/2022)

- Make coffee in the morning

- Have a small warm up routine when I am done drinking my coffee

Anyway, day 1, finished the P90X3 accelerator today. Wasn't able to remain active for all of the exercises though, after the 11 minute mark I just got like UuuuuUUUrrrrrg. Still manage to stick until the end.

Now I... uh... am in pain, but I guess it's tolerable.

That is pretty much it.

Bye bye now

Day 1

Came back from camping, didn't workout so I consider this a reset.

Did the accelerator again at around 5pm. I am currently dead I think, and very tired.

BUT

The camping trip

uuUUuUuUUUuUrrrrrrrrrrrrrrMHHHHHHHHHHH

Loved every second of it (yes that's what this thing up above mean)

Toodles

Glad you had a good time of it! Way to get back at the workouts as soon as you returned!

Hey thanks! Honestly I am happy that I took the time to do this, it's just so darn difficult to get myself to do it sometimes.

___

Did the warrior workout routine today, like usual, pretty tired, but my armed feel less like wet noodles now, more like... dry napkins, so progress!

Also, I have been trying to get out of bed early these past few days, something like 6am, but

I

Just

cant

Do it

It's like... I wake up, open my eyes, then I go like meeeeEeEEHhhhhh, close them, and then what do you know it's 9 am.

Any tips?

If your usual wake up time is 9, then 6 is a BIG change.  I'd start at the other end, and go to bed at a good time, giving yourself 8 hours. Shoot for maybe 7:30 or 8 at first as your wake up time. My alarm is across the room. To turn it off, I have to get up and go hit the off button. I let myself hit the snooze button once. Then I open my blinds, and turn on my light. The 10 minute snooze gives me time to transition , but the lights usually keep me from falling asleep again.

Thanks for the tip, it worked fine, but I still need practice I guess. Tried to do some exercise after waking up, then after 3 minutes I got tired and went back to bed. I think I'll aim lower next time and try to do something like... I dunno... a simple warm up routine. I'll be less discouraging then a full blown workout

___

Did some yoga today, I wasn't as bad at this one, compared to the other two I did so far. Still, I am a bit worried. School is starting soon, and that means : Leave the house at 7am, get back at 7 pm. It's going to be difficult to find the time to workout with all of this...unless I find a way to get my butt going earlier in the morning.

But at least we're on day 3

Day 4.1

Allright, here's a secondary objective that I decided could be a good thing to do:

- Do a small warm up routine after drinking my coffee in the morning

...

Well I guess that implies I need to make coffee then, okok :

- Make coffee after waking up

- Do a small warm up routine after drinking said coffee

The warm up ain't difficult, but it should push me to do something in the morning

I'll update the first post and add this rule

Day 5

An other yoga like workout

And I REALLY should start doing some strength training because

My

Arms

Are

WEAK

Secondary objective

Day 0.1

I made some progress but don't think I really accomplished my secondary objective

It's progress, because I ended up doing my workout earlier

But it ain't a success because... well... it took me way to long to actually prepare my coffee and then get down stair and do the small warm up

So I'll count this as day 0.1, progress, but not day 1

Day 08

Nice! So I am able to workout even during school. Officially the first time that I've finished my workout before 7 am.

Today was the accelerator again. Wasn't as bad as last time (I think?), so that's nice

Secondary Objective

Day 1

Haha! Yeah like I said, I finally managed to get my butt going in the morning. That makes me happy

Day 10

Today was yoga.

My flexibility was... adequate?

Balance still need some work... ok it needs a lot of work.

I am happy that I took the time to do this

Secondary Objective

Day 2.1

Eeeeeh started my workout a bit to late this time around (something like 7am, I aim for 5:45am, that way I get my workout in before school)

Didn't have school today though, so no problem.

Day 14

Today I did a workout called triometrics

The description said it was a cardio workout, turns out it's also a lower body strength workout, and now I can't feel my legs.

It doesn't hurt though, it's kind of amazing how doing a small warm up makes the whole process of working out so much better
