What worked? What impediments did you discover? What surprises did you find along the way? Greetings everyone! Refound NF, after years away, and thought to take a look around. Been enjoying several of the updates. Made me think about possibilities for myself. Today I re-began my morning walk. The goal was 15 mins, then realized I was heading towards 20 with a smile ... wound up accomplishing 28 total continuous minutes & was (am) ecstatic. My main goal will be consistency & variety. Looking forward to our journey ahead! 6 Quote Link to comment

How was the challenge? What worked? What impediments did you discover? What surprises did you find along the way? Happy spooky season. Life (work mainly) got in the way of me coming to the forums a lot this time round, but I kept track of my goals and even achieved some of them. Next challenge I need to go in expecting work to be busy, and be realistic about what I can achieve around it. Also, need to come up with a good Halloween theme... 5 Quote Level 18 Wood Elf Ranger STR: 14 - CON: 11 - CHA: 3 - SAN: 9 - INT: 13 IAgreeWithTank™ "Shit is going down, but I am not." - iatetheyeti Don't say "I don't have enough time", say instead "that's not a priority right now" and see how that makes you feel. How was the challenge? What worked? What impediments did you discover? What surprises did you find along the way? I'm thankful to still be around at the end. When all else fails, that's the main objective. Just stay in the fight. It actually didn't go as badly as that first statement might make it seem. The small things I was able to keep up with, but all things lifting and many things piano-related were put on halt while my work exploded all around me. And now that the dust is clearing, I'm starting to realize that a 50+ hour work week for me is just going to be a thing that happens every now and then, and I need to prepare accordingly. I switched over to the Greyskull LP (Props to @Stronkey Kong for the inspiration) which showed me a lot. Apparently, losing a week or two to the work-hole isn't the catastrophe that I thought it was which makes me more likely to continue working out (as opposed to believing I have to start over completely from scratch which can be incredibly demotivating when it happens for the 3rd 5th 8th 17th time). 5 Quote "When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it." -Henry Ford "The older I get, the more I understand that the only way to say valuable things is to lose your fear of being correct." -Malcolm Gladwell "If you know the way broadly, you will see it in all things." -Miyamoto Musashi Link to comment

So, working on trying to find ways to make things easier along with backup plans. Upside I ended up following through with some health appointments and found some answers for myself! 2 Quote Larger than Average Fairy Druid Level 1 10 STR / 8 DEX / 10 CON / 13 INT / 13 WIS / 17 CHA (DnD Stats) Link to comment
