Sorry about the smoke. Yuck. There are several places where it seems to be happening more often, too. Slightly worrying. Nice that you have noticeable scale-shrimp progress!

The news said we actually have less wildfires this year. Hopefully, the change in the way they are handling the fires starts to cut down on the number and intensity of the fires.

Thanks!

Ugh. my allergies are making me just feel yuck. Today I did an walking video instead of a row. My ankle was kind of sore, and I thought the walk seemed less intense. Did a GMB workout. They have an option where you can choose the length of your workout. I usually opt for the longer one, this time I opted for the 30 minute. Felt fine while doing it, but afterwards I was super tired. Sometimes it's hard to know whether to work out when you are feeling a bit meh. Sometimes it helps, others it didn't.  Took a long nap this afternoon.  Our church is having a fall conference, but I decided to stay home.

Hope the rest helps - I definitely agree it's hard to figure if exercise or rest is the most helpful 😕

Thanks. It sorta helps, but what would help the most is cleaner air.

This weekend I took it easy and chilled. On Saturday,  I did a walking video for 40 minutes. Then I watched an 18 inning (!) baseball game on TV. My son and husband were at the game. It was a playoff, that sadly we lost. I did some scrapbooking while I watched, and some stretching, and a little light walking.

Today I went to church. After that came home and just chilled. Our air is still smoky. Did a 15 minute walking video.

Week wrap up: I think I did a good job of getting stuff done, but also listening to my body and slowing down when I needed to. I was able to get some walking in with videos, which is a good feeling. Did some scrapbooking.

Challenge wrap up

The challenge of my title was "All Joy , No Stress' I didn't really make that a goal, but I did try and have that be a value that I carried forth. It turned out there was stressful things that happened, a big one being ongoing bad air aggravating my allergies. I did work at reminding myself of all the things that I had to be thankful for. I also adapted my goals, and  worked on rolling with life a bit more. It was good practice living out a value that is important to me.

FItness:

GMB 3 times a week- yes

walking -yes-  even found a video that is semi enjoyable to walk to ( I  will always prefer walking outside)

GMB respiration program- got bored and dropped it

rowing- yes

Eating skills

Decent practice- Easy to fall to the wayside when I feel drained. But, some of them are enough of a habit that I was fairly steady

I did weigh myself daily (ish) and also started back at measuring.

Like Skills

Monday Morning writing out the weekly goals and daily goals. I realized that part of the reason this is successful is the habit tracker sheets I have. First, they are tear off for each week. So each week I get to start new. And the spaces to write in is small, so it is self limiting . I did really well at this. The last week wasn't as great, because I was feeling poor, and just dialed life back to the minimums.

Gardening:

prepping for winter; Yes- Not as much as I wanted to, due to smoke, but some done.

Scrapbook: 50% of Yellowstone project; Yes

Guest bedroom 50% of to do list- Nope, I'd say about 25%. But, I've started, so next challenge I'll keep it going.

Next challenge:

I've finished reading James Clear's book Atomic Habits. It was really good. A lot  of his tips are ones we've used here. Reading the book just gave me more details.  Next challenge I want to implement some of those strategies.

I will still be working on GMB.

I may be more intentional about tracking with my eating skills. This time of year it can be easy to gain weight.  I want to keep on finding that balance where I give myself freedom some of the times, but other times I make sure I'm at maintenance.

Looking good. Keeping the aim in mind and returning to it for guidance sounds about as good as it gets.

Oh no, is it get-fat-for-hibernation season again? Already? 😐
