Making excellent progress with the culling, about 80-90% done! Soooo much stuff trashed or heading to recycling and it feels amazing! Feel lighter with each bag. :D

Awesome! :)

It's kinda annoying that after I finally found a studio where I'm happy and making friends I'm leaving... But the itch is too strong!

Very annoying! That seems like the only downside about moving/ becoming a digital nomad at this point.. it's hard leaving friends behind and places where you feel a sense of belonging, it would seem kind of lonely to me.

Yay for solid shouldermounts!! :D ❤️

Yay! Though they've never been particularly difficult for me, it's more an expression of my current strength level. Which I'm happy with. 🙂

Solo traveling can be lonely for sure. But the itch must be scratched! And in a way I have to leave in order to want to come back, if that makes sense?

Debatable. The latest videos are quite painful to watch. 😬

Today I took a break from decluttering, or ahem, got stuck playing StS. 😛 It was really cold and dark so honestly it didn't even click that I was supposed to do things outside. 🤷‍♀️

In the evening I went climbing and it was super fun as usual. When I only climb every 3-4 weeks everything is always new and shiny! 😆 I climbed pretty poorly and unfocused but my strength is decent (despite much soreness from Sunday!) so I managed to flash 4 out of the 5 6Bs I tried! We also did 3 jumpy climbs which was very fun. I'm terrible at them so I always appreciate when they set more accessible versions. I know I'd really like them if I could get enough practice time so they'd stop feeling like imminent death, but it's hard to get practice time in when there's only say one 6C+ at the gym at any given time. Did a run and jump, a coordination dyno and a swingy thing (though didn't manage to finish it). Feel very accomplished.

That sounds like a great climbing session! I love dynos, on the rare occasion that I land them

Yea I think I get it. It's a bit of a crossroads thing as well? I did 3 months of solo travel at a point where I wasn't sure where I wanted to go/ what I wanted to do. I think it helped.

Half the reason I do kettlebell sport is so I still get to scratch my travel itch a little bit once or twice a year, without my family in tow :P

Breaks are important too and sometimes the weather just dictates "stay inside, play a game and drink tea". xD

Same. :D

Font, kinda. It's really colour bands and what I call 6Bs could really be anything between 6A and 6C. Grades are weird anyway.

Possibly. I like resets. They don't particularly work but I still like them. :D And Finland is too much like living in a comfy couch and too much sofa time is not good.

Excellent excuse. :D

I'm very, very sore. :D Climbing while unrecovered, plus a double pole class yesterday. We did side supermen and I'm still confused about why it even works. Feels like it shouldn't be physically possibly to hold your body up with essentially a bit of butt skin. :D The heels class was good but terrible because my memory sucks again. Curious why that is. Maybe moar coffee is needed. :D

Today I carried two heavy ass bags to the second hand shop because clearly I like to torture myself. And then I have two more classes in the afternoon. RIP body.

I'm glad your sports are both challenging and enjoyable. Enjoy the DOMS it's a sign of appreciation from your muscles.

It's definitely a lot of both! The DOMS have turned into an inability to move so I can't say I'm particularly enjoying life right now. 😅 I need someone to like bathe me like an old person. 🤣

Deaded by pole. Everything hurts and I can no longer move. Cutting a sweet potato hurt my abs. At least I now know that 10 hours in 5 days is too much. On the plus side, it's the first time in forever that I'm legit excited about a rest day. :D

I also read a lovely little book, A Psalm for the Wild-built by Becky Chambers. It's a sci-fi novella but very human-focused and I'd definitely recommend it if you need a break from the current state of affairs to get a more positive outlook on the world and its future. :)

Sounds like a great week of workouts! Maybe too much lol. Thanks for the book recommendation

Love this feeling. :D Have you got a bathtub? Go drench in it and then eat all your favorite food and you will feel great in no time at all. :D

I WISH I had a bath tub! In Finland there's only saunas. Most larger flats have one but I don't even have that.

Though I really don't like that feeling, feels like a one-way ticket to injuries. 😬 Feeling surprisingly alright today though. My hips are quite tired and I have a spectacular mystery bruise on my hip, but otherwise ok. :P

Today I was super lazy because SNOW! Unfair that I have to leave my house, but it is to see friends... Wish they didn't live in the middle of nowhere!

But... now Snow is still pretty. :D  (as opposed to snow in February and March when it's just not fun anymore).

Hope you have fun with your friends. ❤️ (and are able to enjoy the snow a bit)

Oof, I hate that feeling. Although the last time I had DOMS when cutting up food it was in my pecs .

Yep and the trend continues. 😄 My body just needs to last for a few more weeks. 😅

Noo February is typically the month of magic winter wonderland here! 🙂 It’s often very cold but sunny which makes everything sparkly and super pretty and the light is often spectacular. November is meh and dark no matter what.

Time with friends was really nice, though I suspect friend A was purposefully staging plenty of alone time with friend B, who friend A said might be interested in me but which I haven’t noticed at all. As far as I’m concerned there’s zero chemistry so now I’m not even sure if friend A is making things up. 😄 Or maybe I’m just that oblivious. Kinda awkward. Not the interaction itself but having a big elephant in the room which I didn’t even know if it was real. 😆

Other than that life’s been more of the same, mostly pole and StS. My mood’s been going a bit haywire and I almost fell for the gremlin gang’s shit talk and bailed on the pole showcase which I had semi-promised to perform in. But today I decided to ignore my brain since clearly  it’s not to be trusted. In today’s class I realised that I could actually dance the choreo which just a few weeks ago seemed impossibly complex and fast. And if that’s true then with more practice I should be able to not botch the showcase with simpler moves right? 😅But mostly I figured that even if I botch it’s still a nice way of celebrating the progress I made and doing something with my friends.

Doing good on the travel  front, which was my main goal for the challenge I think, maybe? 😆 Cleared out soooo much stuff, but I’m sure there will be another batch when I start packing for real. For now I’m pretty much done though. Got my flight sorted too, kinda bad timing leaving at this time of year pricewise, but managed to find an ok priced flight to Bali, so that’s the first stop. 🤩
