Ziraiah prepares for hiking trips

Recommended Posts

I didn't feel like doing much anything today. I did do my workout and take Kassu for two short walks, but otherwise I just played some Ori and the Blind Forest and watched Netflix.

I'm starting to realise I expect myself to be always productive, when I have my day off. It's now the quiet season at work, and I don't have many hours. It has given me time to think. I need to learn it's ok to be unproductive and just be.

Sleep: I went to bed around 11 pm, but Kassu wanted to go out at 4.30 am. I did go back to sleep after that.

Breakfast: Random stuff. I need to go to buy some groceries, but didn't feel like melting my popsicle car today.

Workout: 40 min full body workout and around 1 hour walking with Kassu in total.

I think that's a valuable observation and a good attitude. Sometimes we just need a break and should rest well to have more energy later on!

Post more pics of Kassu some time :)

It's a work weekend, so I have been mostly just working, taking Kassu for walks and stretching a bit.

I feel like I have no energy after work, so I try to plan all the activities on my days off, or for the evening shift days, before the shift. I applaude to all the people, who manage to do stuff after they get home. I'm mostly just a potato with a back pain and sore feet. x_x

Yesterday's step count 24 000, today 21 000. Work wasn't too hectic, but there were many things to keep me busy.

Sleep: Last night and the night before were horrible. I woke up multiple times because of the back pain, and had terrifying nightmares.

Breakfast: Probably too carb heavy again and low on protein, but I just craved crunchy, sweet muesly today.

Workout: Yesterday I walked with Kassu around 1h in total. Today we walked less, because Kassu was not enjoying the cold weather.

Don't compare yourself to others. Some people have more demanding jobs, some just the opposite. And every person's fitness and situation is also different. Do what feels right for you! :)

You would like Kassu then. He is all about good weather. :D If it rains or it's too cold/warm, he gives me The Looks. I swear no dog can make me feel as guilty as he does.

I try not to compare myself to others, but sometimes I just forget that. Thank you for the reminder, I needed that. ❤️

This first challenge went pretty well. I managed to change my sleeping schedule, and I have been in bed before 11 pm most nights. So that's a victory!

What comes to breakfast, there have been improvements, but also some setbacks. I need to keep working on that.

I have been working out the amount I was planning to, so yay! I'm proud of myself for making an effort. Let's continue on next challenge, with new goals.

That's wonderful!! I am so happy for you! It is a great feeling to have a victory, right? Let's rock in the next challenge as well!

P.S. I am not sure if you know, but  when you don't quote me or use @ + name when you answer to my comment, I don't get a notification about your reply.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't realise that. I'll use either quote or @ + name in the future. ^^

I'll see you on my current challenge! 🤗

You did great! And I've been enjoying the photos.

I'm glad to hear! I'm a visual person, so it's way easier for me to stick with something, if I can actually see the progress somehow. If that makes sense. 😅 That's why I'm adding photos quite often.

I love the photos! Even better if they are helping you!

You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be better than you were before. Do that every day and you will succeed.
