The cardboard is to try to help with the mess but it is not really working because chickens are DIRTY. I love them but am ready to have my office back 😂 I had to cut it in the middle because the blue one pooped on me. Have you looked into Hemp bedding for chickens? I’ve heard it’s super absorbent, minimal dust, etc. And lasts a long time. spezzy
W2D1 "I'm going to update my challenge every day" --> spezzy's famous last words. We've had a tough week, didn't feel well the first half of the week but made it through and feeling super optimistic and we started this week off with a win: The electrician finally came and upgraded our electrical panel/service so we now have enough electricity to flush the toilet without the lights flickering. And we got updated pictures of our newest goodest boy: So it's already been a great week. Terrain Mastery/Woodland Stride: Morning Walk ✅ ✅✅✅✅✅✅ Outside stuff - I did do a lot this week, but landing in the second half of the week, the first half I didn't feel well and it was rainy. Thursday/Fri/Sat/Sun were all back up to normal activity levels though. ✅✅✅✅ Spellstrike: I made the decision to not work out Saturday after hauling a big ass tree out of the river and through the wetlands in my waders and pushing so hard that by the end, I was falling over because my quads didn't work anymore (they are fine, just felt like a really difficult sled pull, but I obviously worked at a very high intensity there) + a bunch of other outside activity. Sunday I just wanted to be outside in the sun with my time, so that's where I was. Spellbooks: P 8:45 Nightly✅ ✅✅✅✅✅✅ Arcane Pool: Nightly Yoga, after spellbooks ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ Struggling to make this happen, but last week we got the chickens out of my office and I pulled the yoga mat from the gym in the garage and put it in the office, so now I just have to deep clean my office and I can use that space, so I'll work on that today. Row 1000m/day every day in April: ✅✅ As you can see, there's a new goal. Now you're probably going "oh, silly spezzy, new goals are for people who are currently doing their first goals". And this is true. However, this was a special challenge that @Knightwatch came to me with and it sounded like fun so why not. 1km a day for every day in April For this upcoming week, we have a bigger chainsaw and an auger coming Wednesday and then I have Fri-Mon off work so am planning on doing a ton of work outside over the weekend. The next few days will be prep for that and get everything ready for the fence/electric fence and the chicken coop build, so my plan for my breaks this week are just finalizing plans, making sure I have everything I need. Did a ton of research last week when I wasn't feeling great, so now just need to compile it into action steps. That's it for now really! 10 2 Quote Current Challenge - Instagram “There's only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you've got to be kind.” Link to comment
