Aussie Rebels are super great. Because we swim with sharks like this.

What do we reckon then meet in a cafe or a bar for a game? Dawsy that nerd bar you mentioned before near Central might not mind a few of us playing cards there.

I haven't played cards against humanity either, but I would certainly like to try :)

Dawsy, would you be able advertise on the NF Aussie FB group and see what the consensus is for a good Sydney meet up address? I reckon we should try to go somewhere easy/central/friendly to people who haven't met up before (like Hiram McDaniels!)

Another Sydney member here :)

Welcome to NF, good to have another Sydneysider onboard. Keep an eye on this thread, we usually have about 4 meetups a year which get announced here if you're interested (no obligation!).

Guys I really want to buy Steve's book but with the exchange rate and postage it's close to 40 bucks! Anyone want to do a group order and then split the postage?

Available at Book Depository (free shipping worldwide) currently at 10% off it's AUD $27.33 http://www.bookdepository.com/Level-Up-Your-Life-Steven-Kamb/9781623365400

I'm heading to Sydney for maybe a week in March. Any suggestions for something fun to do?

Being a hobbit you probably like walking! Spit Bridge to Manly, Bondi to Coogee coastal and the Cremorne Point front are all really fantastic walks with lovely views.

Botanical Gardens and Mrs Macquaries chair are also nice to walk through and you must walk down the shaded avenue of fig trees in Hyde Park, my favorite place in Sydney.

If you like beer try the Lord Nelson pub in the rocks or the Dove and Olive in Surrey Hills.

So much you can do, depends on what your interests are!

We could probably tie in a Sydney meetup if you want some company ;)

I am looking up all of your suggestions right this second!

Need to book flights but I should be in Sydney from the 21st of March to the 26th. I am attending a medieval festival from the 24th to the 28th so will understand if a meetup isn't able to suit the dates (I might be able to sneak out for a few hours :) )

Most of my interests relate to old or ultra modern architecture, nature, gaming and history. I'm probably forgetting something that will make me go doh! later :)

Proserpine, Queensland. Whitsundays.

Looks very nice, could you just move it down a state? :P

I like to travel so maybe some day :)

Medieval festival, mm? I guess I'll see you there, then!

Ayyyyye. A fellow SCAdian?! Hihi! (we're taking over the world, one website at a time).

It's my first Festival, any suggestions?
