RIGHT?!yep, all in one set, alternating legs. and let's just clarify that when i say pistol squat, i mean going down as far as i can right up until i think i'm going to fall down. i can't do a proper pistol yet. but that's why i'm doing so many - because i want to! ...we, each of us, are responsible for our own fulfillment. Maybe I'll do them on squat days as my assistance exercise instead of split squats. I lift heavy things. 'tupid press.then:"DT"5 Rounds for time12 Deadlift 9 Hang Power clean 6 Push Jerkdid 60lbs for everything except the last few hang cleans & push jerks - moved down to 57 b/c form was not great. i took 17 minutes-ish to do this, so went over the 15 minute cap. it's very possible that i actually did 6 rounds, b/c i definitely lost count. i was the last one to finish, but i don't really care. 60 is the heaviest i've gone for a WoD, and it was ambitious, and i did it (well, except for that last round). i could've gone easy on myself at 55lbs, but what good would that serve? i'm sore & bruised today, but i love love love the barbell wods. man, it's workouts like yesterday that are getting pretty excited to start the unlimited membership so i can just tear into these workouts on a whole new level and really start seeing improvement.goal-related:- wrote out flashcards/studied for an hour. also contacted ACSM to get my voucher # so that I get a member discount for the exam. DT killed my upper body.Squat45x1065x5x270x5x3then a WoD with a few other Friday regulars:10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1Push-upsbox jumpToes to bar (knees to elbow)didn't get a time, oops!06-30-12mobility5 rds:200 m sprint21 kb swings (26lb)time: 10:20** i did this wod before, and i need to see what the time was for that. next time, i need to use a heavier kettlebell. clean practice - 45lb x 7 x 3 (just to practice getting under the bar/loosen up)i did not feel up to doing the CF class on Saturday b/c my arms were killing me. after working out, i stayed to watch the final CFB challenge to see which member would win a free ticket to the CrossFit Games w/ the coaches in Cali. the challenge was 15 min to find max back squat, then take 85% of that, and do AMRAP squats w/o rest. looked super challenging, and it was great to see some of my favorite CF people giving it their all. 07-01-12rest day. got a lot of chores and things done, so was still super productive!goal-related:- tracked spending. took out cash as my spending money for the week, so that i don't overspend.- submitting essay/resume for CF internship this afternoon. - didn't track food this weekend. :-\ ...we, each of us, are responsible for our own fulfillment. I'm counting this as a PR, as I'm pretty sure it's the first time I've done this and actually gone parallel. baby steps, y'all. then:"Elizabeth"21-15-9Cleans 135/95 (53#)Ring Dips (subbed dips on the parallets w/ feet on the ground)got 10:50. i never usually do full cleans, as Coach Neal told me at Oly one time to just do power b/c of my mobility stuff. this time, though, i did full cleans and it was obvi harder. there were a couple times where i forgot to squat, so did a few power cleans as well! 07-04-1250 pistols (25 each leg). and walked about 2 miles on my way home from the fireworks. went to the CF BBQ for a bit and felt super lazy b/c about 40 people did the Lumberjack 20 WoD prior to, and I ditched it to watch the reading of the Declaration of Independence.
