My Oath

This is my first challenge and I'm gonna wreak havoc on it! I want to be a Rangers becouse of one phrase "Prepared for anything". That's my ultimate fitness goal.

A little bit late to join the Challenge but who cares.

Goals:

Do one pull up

Deadlift 50 pounds

Run a mile under 9 min (completed)

Level up goal; Wake up every day at 5:45 and hit the gym or run (except for Sundays)

I salute you my fellow Rangers

Today's work

Wake up at 6:00 and hit the gym at 6:30

Warm up, did 3 sets of the following

25 Squats

5 Inverted Rows

20 pound deadlifts x 20

11 Push ups

~1 min Planks

You might wanna take a look at the StrongLifts 5x5 program. Basically there are 5 lifts you do (Deadlift,Bench Press,Overhead Press,Squat &Barbell Row) and you do 5 sets of 5 . Check out the website or download the app.I did and I'm liking the simplicity of it and its kinda tough.

I second that recommendation, it's a great program which would definitely help you build strength to reach your deadlift and pull up goal.

Have you tried to run a mile yet? How did it go?

Sleepy=no gym this morning

Completed begginer workout routine (midday)

Climbed a tree

Nice work! I haven't climbed a tree in too long. Added to my to do list. :)

Today's work

Woke up early

Hit the neighborhood roads

Ran-jog-walk for 30 min

I will got to the local stadium and time my mile

Start the 5x5 next Monday

Ate at a mexican restaurant :(

Said No to my friends when they offered pizza later :)

Watched them eat pizza, in my face

Congrats on saying no to pizza!!! And great work keeping up with your workouts.

Mexican restaurants don't have to be bad. Just get fajitas and use a fork to eat them instead of putting them in a tortilla. Or fajita salad if they have one!

Woke up at 6 :)

Ran for good 30 min

Ran a mile 8:32 sec

Biked for 45 min

Attempted a pull- With a slight jump I managed
