I have just finished reading The Midnight Watch, a story about the Titanic and Californian. I highly recommend it.

Now I need to find another book to start...

Just started the name of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, because that is what I had handy... Boy it is good.

Somehow this is just hilarious! :D:D

I'm inclined to ask if they have any similarities?

Not at all. But the book is quite awesome. When I started it, it was on spot 12421432432432 on my list of favourite books. Now I am half way through and it moved up to 9. (Seriously) Starts of major slow. But I would recommend it.

I'm reading The Disappeared by Kristine Kathryn Rusch; it is a sf mystery. Great book so far, but then she's a great author.

Finally getting around to reading Ready Player One

How are you liking it? I could not leave the house over the weekend that I read it.

I've just started The Martian, but I'm also poking around a big book of sci-fi quotations, aptly titled "Science Fiction Quotations."

I really enjoyed it, finished this weekend by reading the last half in one sitting (lots of tea!) - it was super enjoyable and I liked that he actually had a lot of different dimensions to it (it wasn't just a geek novel, it wasn't just a dystopian future novel), so yeah, definitely a recommended read!

I loved The Martian, the attention to detail is splendid and the humour is excellent. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

How the hell did they come up with the title of Science Fiction Quotations? Talk about obscure!

I'm currently reading Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I started watching the show and loved it, so now it's book time!  My "To Read" pile is huge though, so hopefully I can get through this one soon so I can get to other books!

How did you like War and Peace? That is one of my favorite book, even though I don't remember the exact story just the impression and feelings I had while/after reading it.
