Loren Wade's Unlife Challenge

Theme

This challenge's theme is simple. It's kind of an unchallenge. I only need to launch my blog, go to CrossFit, eat Whole 30, and continue my mobility work. That's it. (New challenge rules state only 4 goals maximum are allowed now anyway).

Story

In January of 2011, I set out to lose weight and discovered fitness instead. I counted calories, ran my first 5k, then discovered Nerd Fitness and Steve Kamb. I was inspired by people like spezzy, started my first challenge, and never looked back. I lost 50 pounds, went paleo and lost almost all symptoms of my Crohn's disease, completed a 10 minute plank, and defeated Tough Mudder. After discovering fitness, I found that I love running in my Vibrams from Zombies!, working and preparing for the apocalypse at CrossFit, and helping fellow nerds level up.

Good looking challenge; nice and simple and to the point. Can't wait to see what you blog turns out like, be sure to set up an RSS feed for it so I can stay up to date without signing up for the emails.

And glad to see that I'm not the only one allowing an exception to the Whole30

It's already done, including RSS and email updates. Yeah, I have to. Been eating Whole9 for a long time now.

I agree, that meetup is gonna be way unpaleo, but tons of fun. Nice to see the goals have simplified nicely compared to last challenge. :P Keep up the great work, as always.

Hey, I want to get in on this whole hearting-your-goals thing that all the kids are so crazy about.

I love that these are bare-bones this time around. I think we really get caught up in trying to do too many things at once. The new Only-Four-Goals-Dang-It rule is really getting us to focus, and your more-wood-behind-the-arrow list looks powerful.
