Tuesday, 9.04

Run - 5.36 miles in 49:16 tempo w/fartleks - hard run...felt good

Wednesday, 9.05

Push ups AMRAP 50, 41, 29 all sets w/in about 2 hours

Negative pull ups 5x8 - yep...I moved to Phase II!

Alternating Superman 2x8

Bridge 2x8

Metronome 2x8

Planks 2x 1:15

Side Planks 2x :45

Crunches 2x30

Air Squats 2x20

Heel Raises 2x20

Thursday, 9.06

Run ~5.3 miles in 1:01:49 easy run on a beautiful night...excellent attitude improver. I ran past an outdoor concert at a park and heard a one man acoustic guitar rendition of Louis Armstrong's 'What a Wonderful World'. All I can say is :) !

Still eating more fruit, but not enough veggies and too much pizza this week.

I have not prioritized cleaning the office...yeesh! I have to get past some kind of mental block when it comes to it.

Pizza is SO easy and SO tasty. That's a hard one to quit. (I'm not there yet)

Good workout, but I managed to pull a muscle in my left arm. It has been two weeks now (as of writing this post) and there is still a bit of pain...I have not done any upperbody or core workouts since then as I use my arm to stabilize myself for some of the core movements. :(

Saturday, 9.08

Run - 4 miles in 37:32 at a medium pace

Sunday, 9.09

Run - 8.25 miles in 1:37:24 easy

Grade for Week 5

Chin up workout x 10 sets - A for effort before pulling a muscle!

This was not a great week, I have surely pulled a muscle in my left arm, so I have not been doing any core or upper body workouts. Trying to rest/massage the arm...time will tell and it is feeling better now, as of this post. I have not posted lately as I've been a bit bummed about the muscle and my lack of real progress on some of the challenge goals...at least it is always good to go for a run!

Wednesday, 9.12

Run - 4 miles in 34:55 - 8 fartleks in miles 2 and 3, tempo for mile 4 - 1 mile PR for mile 2 in 6:50!

Friday, 9.14

Single leg deadlift 2x8
