So I just got distracted by a bunch of stuff on your thread. Awesome stuff, funny stuff, cute stuff. You know, general Laura stuff.

First, studying for six hours. I officially don't miss school! Second, here's to deadlifting (for birth control or otherwise) next challenge! Third, I'll get on the eating train with ya! I have a bachelorette party on Friday and a Halloween party on Saturday where I will have to drink beer to survive. But otherwise, have felt pretty great wheat free. I really need to get my sugar in check next. I've never been such a sugar craver. A little bothersome, and mostly annoying.

Oh, and what's up with the LBEB hate lately? Did you see the guy who posted that he'd gained 100 pounds and all these people start calling him fat? Dude is not fat. Why people gotta hate on someone else's focus. I think he said he does 300 lb farmer's walk the length of a football field in 90 seconds. I about fell out of bed (yes, I wake up and read Facebook - this is probably the source of my rage). I wish the LBEBers could be as supportive as the NFers. I guess all of the interwebs can't be a utopia of animated gifs and rainbows.

Speaking of FB, might have to shut it off so I can apply for a job. A job!!

Hahaha I'm glad I made that part of my challenge or I never would have bothered with those classes. But sweet jesus.. my brain really just shuts down after 60 mins or so. Sometimes less, depending on how hard I find the information. So, I can't just sit there and blow through it. So annoying. But ehh learning's fun :P

Awesome! Let's be clean eating diet buddies! Huzzah! So far, I'm enjoying this mini goal... b/c I just ran a bunch of errands (doc visit, register my car blah blah), fasted, driving by Dunkin Donuts. MMMMM But I win. No donuts.

I missed those comments! Wow...wtf! People don't seem to get what LBEB is all about. I don't ever want to be as big as some of those athletes. Like (I think Wendler) said, I'm not willing to pay my taxes. But I respect the frak outta those people. Dude's a beast!

Of course, i have ease back in and yadda yadda, but that's never been hard for me. I don't mind. So, deadlifts-yes, cleans-frak yes.

I saw that, but I resisted the urge to look at the comments... I figured it would be like that, anger me, and then make me late to work. He was a little more "cut" in the before pic, but he has obviously put on mostly muscle with that 100 pound gain, I can't imagine that more than 15 pounds of that are fat, and dude still looks great! And is so much stronger! But different people have different goals and some people can't accept that.... even my own mom was confused that I was okay with my butt getting bigger from lifting.

The internet would be a much happier place if it was all a glittery Lisa Frank gif world. I think I'll go look at LOLcats now :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't get on the 1Q84 train. Now Apocalyptic Planet, that's right up my alley!

Oh and good job on the week, you made the best of a bad week, can't ask for much more than that.

I regret the massive amounts of time it took to read 1Q84...here's to hoping next challenge's book is better!

6 Weeks to a New Power Clean Max

lolz. First I need How to Clean 101. But after that, it's on like donkey kong!

I'm going to start his big bench program after I finish the squat program and take a deload week. I bought his Bas Barbell Program book the other day. I'm really intrigued by his approach. And after reading a ton of his blog, I just really like that guy. He's so down to earth. It's like he's not a big bad ass... I love it.

Yay birfday! I also requested a NF zip up hoodie... which I will buy if I don't get it. Because WANT.

Well, I'm looking at some basic stuff like practical programming... which I just came across in PDF.. WTH? Awesome. I'm not sure why that didn't show up when I googled at home... but hell yeah.

Otherwise, I bought the book I mentioned above to CK. It's got some programs I'm intrigued to try. This whole idea of volume training is interesting to me. I was debating about going after a light medium heavy day each week program, as opposed to wendler's program.

I saw some books on strength anatomy and programming at B&N the other night but I was all /skeptical face when I opened them to see many, many pages listing and demonstrating the use of machines and 700 different bro curls. I'm not sure if the content otherwise is worthwhile or what.

Lastly, Jdang recommended some books to me a while ago. I need to find that conversation as I made the mistake of only writing them in my phone and I have since lost all the data (and yes, I am bitter about that. damn you technology!).

Squat: same as last time (forgot my note book!) but with an additional 3x1 of 70#s

and yeah, forgot my micro loading stuff at home. seriously, laura, if you don't bring it to the gym you can't use it. derp.

Bench: 100 4/2/3

I'm not sure what happened there. I felt pretty weak yesterday over all so it wasn't surprising.

DEADLIFTS! 95x5, 135 5/3/5

Just played around with them. I figured 95 would be heavy after 3 months or so. It was extremely light. 135 was just heavy enough. My form was okay but I definitely need to work it again for a while.

Hip thrust ball things: 3x8

and guys, I didn't do cardio. I just didn't want to. I know, bad laura.

I did study for 1.5 hours.

Oh, and Monday night I read almost 2 chapters in C&P while boyf and I were at the doctor. He sprained some muscles in his shoulder during practice. :( Naturally, the doctor gave him a bunch of drugs and told him not to move it.

Congrats on deadlifting. That's always such a pain to WANT to lift but be told by the doctor DON'T.

Seconded on the NF clothes. I asked for that and chalk for my birthday, both of which I'll buy if they don't materialize :).

Don't beat yourself up on no cardio, double time it next workout!

:( Yeah, bro, I hear you on this one. The textbook for the PFT course considers there to be only one - one! - exercise for the biceps, and that is the curl. Still, at least they're progressive about it - they use the barbell for it. I have to admit, looking at the pictures now, I'm all like "Hahaha what. You're supposed to use that for squats. D:"

Aaand, that's what I love about bodyweight. You can't leave your pounds at home. They come with you everywhere.

That might... that might not be quite so encouraging. :D Still, good to see you still have some strength in you. Hopefully you'll recover your numbers faster. Take care with this.
