Awesome on the house clean, that is a good feeling. I might even last through the tornado's know as children. Great work on push ups, sometimes you need the rest then back at it.

Good work on the push-ups! And I am seriously envious of anyone who can even approach a handstand.

I am feeling good today! I am getting so much done in the house! Still have avoided the girl's bedroom, but I will get to it soon. I'm just on a roll here. The laundry is now caught up, i don't have to feel embarrassed if someone drops by unannounced. Now I just need to get hubby to help me get some of this stuff to good will. Good things happenin! Yesterday I did some jump roping but it was pretty busy around here. Today I will do some more. I'm about to have lunch: an unwhich, and sweet potato. Good stuff! Meanwhile, it's almost Friday (woohoo!).

I have a ton more range of movement in my shoulder today! It's awesome! If I move in JUST the wrong way, I feel the pain, but it's much reduced from previously. I can move a lot farther before it starts. I think the yoga and extra stretches along w/ chiro adjustments is really doing the job. Yay! I also have my pull up bar up. When I take laundry down or go down to the basement for any reason I've been hopping up to do one quick negative on the pullup bar. I hope to see some strength results!

I know, right! the tornados got home from school yesterday and I couldn't believe the mess they made in such a short time. It wasn't even toys. it was just....kid stuff...snacks, school papers, coats, backpacks...

Eventually got them straightened out.

I am still here! I've been updating my original post with my numbers, even though i haven't been posting new thoughts. I have slacked a bit on headstands and pushups this week. I need to get that back under control and finish strong. Food is still going really well. I have not gotten to the girl's room yet, however I still have time and I have gotten a lot of things done in the house in general, so it's still been a positive couple of weeks. I have 3 more days left of whole 30 after today! I've almost done it and I can't believe it! Next Thursday we are taking the kids to the Dells for a couple nights at one of the indoor water parks. It will be fun!

Okay, so I was geeking out in chat that I am starting to see some of my upper ab muscles now (my 2 pack, haha). Clawed Bear was all "pics or it didn't happen." So I put my brave hat on and took a picture. Then I dove back into my phone because I remembered taking a picture in late July for ME to see if I noticed any changes in myself since the June before. Check this out....

I'm pretty excited because I can actually SEE change!! My fitness routine hasn't changed a lot in the last nearly 3 months. This is all the result of eating well.

It's my last day of whole30! I will be glad to be put back into a place where I can just make a choice on whether to eat things, rather than have a zero tolerance all the time kind of thing going on.

Push ups were meh last night. I should have waited a little longer before trying that last set. As it was, I waited 45 seconds and I was only able to get 22 pushups out of the 45 I was supposed to do. I had to leave after that, but after hours I tried again for principal's sake. I was only able to get to 40. I might try to repeat this day. Not sure.

I rocked the headstand last night, though! 2 minutes and 31 seconds. That is my longest yet. I want to start trying a forearm headstand, but I can't seem to get up on that one. It's so hard to get the right position.

The weather has just been grey grey grey and it's I feel so unmotivated. So much rain this past week. It's really dark in here! The temps have been mild, however, which is nice.

We are going to a water park with the kids Thursday and Friday night (indoor) so that will be much fun! I'm still struggling between which swimsuit to wear (bikini or the one that is more covering). Hubby votes bikini of course :P I'm a little more tentative, being it's indoors and stuff.

I think I'm making a roast chicken for dinner today, and perhaps also baba ganoush (Yum!)

Wow you are awesome. Rock the bikini, you earned it. I find the husbands rewarding looks to be a great reason to wear one, even if I prefer the more sport tri-suit that cover a lot more. Glad to hear you are rocking the push ups and headstands. Way more than I can do.

I couldn't do them when I started! You can do it too if you want to! :)

I haven't worn even a sport style suit in forever. This year was the first time I haven't worn something skirted since the twins were born. It was a skirted tankini type deal for me because I have been so self conscious of the stretchmarks on my legs. Hubby agrees with you and thought I was weird for even thinking of not wearing the bikini. LOL

Ok, so I did not finish strong like I wanted to, but I still need to tally up my work!!

Whole 30: 100% Complete!!

Century Push:

Did my pushups 8 out of 18 days. It seemed like so much more than that! UGH!! That means only 44% complete. I'm a bit disappointed with myself here.

Headstands:

Did my headstand 21 out of 42 days. Again, I thought I did better than this. Sheesh! 50% completed.

Sanity

The boys room is still reasonably clean even after challenge end! Did not get to the girl's room. I did do other good things, bug that leaves this part 50% completed.

Mini Challenges:

Mini challenge #1: 120 Burpees

Mini Challenge #3: 718 jumps

and as I just realized I never went back and assigned points to the challenge, it's silly to even add this up since I can't get credit. *grumble* Too bad, since I aced the whole30.
