Time to get specific.

Today's Workout: 1 hour JKD session. Included warm up, basic punches and kicks, stick work, grappling and drills.

Today's Food: Breakfast: 3 egg cabbage and mushroom omelette and 2 figs.

Snack: 1 Banana before JKD session

Lunch: Protein powder and cabbage smoothie with sunflower seeds and coconut.

Snack: Couple of squares of dark chocolate with a handful of nuts.

Dinner: Three sausages, 1 cooked carrot with savoy cabbage.

Comments: Cabbage three times a day????

Tomorrow's Workout plan: 6.30am yoga session.

Should have updated this yesterday:

Friday's actual workout: 20 min yoga session. Warm up, seated exercises, 3 sun salutation.

Friday's food: (A mess, missed breakfast, didn't get to eat until just past noon and had a very bad day - now I know my bad food triggers!)

A banana

Three egg mushroom and cheese omelette. Two handfuls of nuts. A fig

An apple

A 100g bar of dark chocolate a handful of nuts (might have been two)

Roasted sweet potato, cabbage, roasted gammon joint.

Some more nuts.

Went to bed with tummy ache and look 4 months pregnant - damn nuts.

Tomorrow's plan - Gym strength workout - pull ups, pressups, squats and deadlifts.

Update for Saturday 29th Sept:

Workout: Um, impromptu rest day - arms and legs still sore from Thursday.

Food: Breakfast: Three egg mushroom omelette and a fig.

Lunch: Beetroot, avocado, walnut and gammon joint leftovers - five brazil nuts.

Dinner: Chicken and pancetta salad (we ate out, I'm so proud of my willpower)

Evening snack: A couple of figs, salami, a few walnuts (just a few)

Update for Sunday 30th Sept:

Workout: 6 push ups, 10 burpees, yoga session (warm up, 3 sun salutations, standing poses and seated poses). Swimming with the kids.

Food: Breakfast: Smoothie: chocolate protein powder with 1 fig, 1 beetroot, sunflower seeds and coconut. (NB it was really gross but I drank it anyway)

Lunch: Three egg mushroom and chorizo omelette.

Snack: Pepperoni type sausage, nuts, apple.

Dinner: Braised lamb shanks with roasted pumpkin and french beans, carrots and leeks.

Update for Monday 1st October.

Workout: Rest day, but did walk a couple of miles around town.

Food: Three egg mushroom and chorizo omelette for breakfast.

Chicken salad with mayonnaise for lunch.

A couple of squares of dark chocolate and a handful of brazil nuts for a snack.

Mexican beef chilli with roasted courgette with feta cheese, followed by a banana for dinner.

Update for Tuesday 2nd October:

Workout: I forgot.:confused-new:

Food: Breakfast - three egg omelette with mushroom and chorizo

Lunch - chicken and mayonnaise salad

Dinner - sausage casserole with courgette and cabbage

Snacks - pear and brazil nuts

Update for Wednesday 3rd October:

Workout: 30 minute yoga session - 4 sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses. 6 push ups and then 4 push ups.

Food: Breakfast - banana and brazil nuts

Lunch - bone broth soup with sausage and poached egg. (mmmm)

Snack - ham, strawberries, cashew nuts, dark chocolate.

Dinner - Thai chicken curry with spinach

nb: Had horrid nasty cold (again) today.

Update for Thursday 4th Oct:

Workout: yoga (for mini challenge) and 1 hr JKD session

Food: Breakfast: cashew nuts, banana, strawberries, dark chocolate.

Lunch: Protein shake and a smoothie

Dinner: Thai chicken curry leftovers with poached egg.

Snack: Probably some nuts....

Friday 5th October:

Workout: 20 mins of stretching / yoga and press ups: Yay, I did SEVEN.

Food: Spinach and cheese omelette for breakfast

Strawberries, chocolate and cashew nuts for a snack

Lunch : 2 chicken breasts with grated cheese and lettuce

Dinner: Rump steak with marrow and goats cheese.

Update for Saturday 6th October:

Workout: Deadlifts: 40kgs: 6, 5, 5

Push ups: 8, 4, 5

Incline pull ups: 7, 5, 5

Yoga and mobility stretching

Food: 2 figs, bag of cashew nuts, 1/2 bar dark chocolate, apple, Strawberries, salami

Dinner: Rump steak with ruby chard and mozzarella cheese.

Update for Sunday 7th October:

Workout: Swimming and yoga (sun salutations, standing exercises, seated exercises and balance poses)

Food: (No breakfast, had dinner at 10pm last night, so wasn't hungry)

Lunch: Serrano ham omelette

Snack: Cashew nuts, chocolate, apple, banana, pepperoni slices.

Dinner: Roast beef, carrots, marrow, french beans and roasted squash.

Snack: Brazil nuts.

Oh god, it's Thursday and I haven't posted since Sunday.

Oh well - I've kept to a Paleo diet completely, eaten far too many nuts and chocolate as usual. (Went to a bring a plate lunch yesterday and even there managed to keep it Paleo......so smug!)

Workout wise, I did 11 pushups on Monday YES!!

Been doing some skipping, JKD workout today.

Update for the past week:

Thursday work out: JKD session. Lots and lots of punching, ached for DAYS afterwards.

Sunday: Press ups only 10, 6, 4 (still sore from all that punching) and short yoga session

Monday: Dead lift: 45kg, 5, 5, 5 (much easier than last time I lifted 45kg about 1 wk ago. Then I did 1 rep of 4).

Monday 5th November.

Bench Press: 20kg 7,7,7: (Too light)

Pull ups: 3,3,1 (Assisted on way up, non assisted on way down)

Squats: 7,7,7: (Used two 10kg dumbells as don't have squat rack yet. Didn't really work, too heavy on arms and not heavy enough on legs.)

Food: No nuts or fruit as well as 100% Paleo, trying to get rid of some stubborn bodyfat.

Wednesday 7th November:

Press ups: 10,4 (arms still really sore from bench press and pull ups on Monday)

Dips: Can barely do one...but it's a start.

Very short sprint session - but good fun!!

Still going well with no fruit, nuts or chocolate. Seems that I don't miss it and I don't feel like snacking all the time.
