Hey,

I was wondering what are the benefits of using a Martial arts/ bodyweight routine instead of following things like the barbell battalion. I have scoliosis and scheurmanns disease so barbells look to be out of the question. I recently began tae kwon do and was wondering what types of effects it will have on my 6 foot elf 160 pound frame rather than lifting, also taking into account Im living semi paleo. It seems like a great sport and martial art, id love to hear if you guys have had any experience or could share some wisdom! thanks!

Give it a try moving your own body in space is much more important than moving and external load(weights). Let us know what you are thinking and if you need any advice most questions can be answered by looking around on this site.
