Yesterday's Results

1. Moving Chapter 6 again! 0 XP earned (I keep doing this :D)

2. Nope, no cleaning. 0 XP earned

Yesterday's Training Results

Instead of walking, I sat down on my parents' spinning bike. Did that for 30 min and got to 10.55 km (previous time was 9.94 km!)

I actually ended the last 30 seconds at a speed of 40 km/h! :D

Goal achieved! 10 XP earned

Total: 10 XP

So yesterday didn't go exactly as planned. I would leave work at 3 pm, go home, do chores, do my walk, go to parents for dinner, and yeah.

Instead I left work at 4:45 pm :| Went straight to dad, through all the traffic jams pretty much, had dinner there. Then did workout on spinning bike instead of walking (which is actually a more intense workout, so I keep my XP for it). Then showered and went home. I was home at 8:30 pm...

At my parents (lol only my dad is home atm, mom is out the country) I tried doing some yoga.

Ended up doing the first three poses I posted up here. It was a lot of fun, though I couldn't quite do them.

Also tried downward facing dog... with little success I think.

And tried doing quadrupedal movements. Unfortunately my ankle didn't want to do that so I had to stop before starting :(


Today's Tasks

2. Clean toilet & bathroom (7 XP)

Today's Training

So again today, as planned with leaving work even earlier and then chores and workout, then dinner with dad, then... need to consider that.

Also yesterday I composed a list of things I need to take care of, let me post it here too!

- Make a Christmas wish list (due November 30)

- Cancel useless insurance

- Unfuck kitchen cabinet

- Unfuck bedroom

- Sort out drawing projects, what do I want to finish?

- Scan in papers from vacation trips

- Sort out some photos from my camera

- Think real hard whether I really need to hold on to certain items

- Finish up my website, or delete it, not keep it hanging half way

- Organize my online life, what accounts do I have, what I can get rid of?

- Really consider where I spend my time… now that I’m making this list anyway

- Finally get supplies and start working on my secret project

- Make a list of games I need to complete… and complete them!

- Stop overwhelming myself and keep lists!

It's a long list yes.

Making my Christmas wish list... hard to think of things... so now it's dominated by things that aren't normally on my wish lists. Normally my wish lists contain toys/video games/dvds/cds/etc.

Well this is just for me and my parents. We buy each other gifts. So I'm totally obligated to make a list haha.

I mean I don't really mind so much anymore, which is why it mostly has useful items on there haha.

I used to be super materialistic and I'm kinda coming back from that mindset and work toward being more minimalistic (long way to go)

Press & Rows were hard, but I managed! My arm muscles cramped up nicely afterward though haha.

Right now I'm doing okay though... little sore in the shoulders/back, but otherwise fine.

Didn't really wanna put this in my challenge thread, it's probably not the place anyway.

But yeah I feel AWFUL! Emotionally and thanks to that physically. Stomachache, headache, heart palpitation. Just been crying a lot and flipping out and feeling very unsure where to put this energy. It's stress/frustration/anxiety energy.

I need a better handle on my emotions, a better way to deal with them before they explode.

Funny thing is, I've already been in therapy for handling emotions, expressing them. Should probably review the material.

Walked for 1 hour, 3 minutes and 22 seconds, for a distance of 5.11 km!!

It was a horrible, horrible evening. I also learned many things about myself though and... it's not pretty.

So I was really tired when getting home, both physically and mentally and pretty much went straight to bed. It was like 8:40pm.

I was nearing sleep (or may actually have slightly slept), and then my cat started to make this noise, awful loud noise. Over and OVER again.

And yes every time my stress level SHOT UP, like not normal. Till I pretty much flipped. Annoyed and half asleep I went over to my cat's room to check it out.

So I discovered what exactly my cat was doing. He jumped up on his scratch post, then jumped at the panel curtains that hang in the room. Over and over.

The scratch post is standing against the wall and directly at the other side is my bed. The scratch post is not very stable (I have noticed that with all of them, what?!) in fact there's a 2 kg plate on it, because my cat had managed to knock it over already!! So basically the scratch post would bang against the wall every time he jumped on it and every time he jumped off it.

So I rearranged the room and moved the scratch post somewhere else (which was a challenge in and off itself... small room, many things to knock off if my cat would stand at the top).

Then I was very frustrated (which I was anyway) with my cat's drinking fountain. I had been putting off cleaning it for a week or so. So I grabbed the whole thing, went to the kitchen and scrubbed it back to shiny clean. Actually fixing some issues there were with it. Then after putting it back in the room, I went back to bed.

Then I couldn't sleep, had to cry a lot... then I hear things falling on the floor. Get out of bed and pick up the things my cat had managed to throw off a shelve (as mentioned) and put those into a cabinet.

Back to bed. Frustrated, on high alert with all the cortisol and adrenaline, and unable to sleep due to all that. Picked up the book "The Introvert Advantage" and got tired after reading for awhile.

Trying to sleep again. Still no success. Pick up work laptop, start it up, wait forever for it to do that. Log in, try to get it to connect to my wireless network. It won't. For whatever reason (due to an unknown reason, thanks windows!).

So I pick it up, move over to the living room, hook it up with a cable and do a shit ton of things for work, including my end of year self-assessment (first year it's implemented) and... whatsapp some with my mom about what I'm doing for work. (who keeps pointing out I should be asleep).

So it's past midnight by the time I close down the laptop and hop back into bed. 00:40 am I finally manage to try and successfully fall asleep.

I definitely can scream at the top of my lunges in frustration here.

So what did I learn from all this?

a) apparently I get stress from sound (not mentioned but the upstairs neighbors were walking up and down the stairs as well, adding to my stress).

B) apparently I get stress from unfinished business nagging my mind (this is completely unconscious)

c) I get stressed easier while tired

d) I'm very irritable when tired

e) I don't do well with overwhelming emotions

So I have a new task for today!

I guess it's that time again where everything comes at exactly the same time.

So I'm no longer surprised at feeling like crap!

I have my period coming up (stopped birth control yesterday, thank god for birth control, else I'd be down and out).

I also apparently have a cold... and that means my ear is swelling up nicely. Hello ear infection, how are you today?!

Really hope it's not gonna get super bad... else I'd have to go to the doctor, get antibiotics and get horribly ill.... (don't you love antibiotics?!)

Thanks to the above I felt pretty horrible during the day.

In the evening I watched The Mist before going to bed. It was pretty darn intense! Quite a good horror movie if it can deliver nightmares/dreams the same night!!

I still have some more DVD's lying around that I should watch... should take some time for that as well.

Definitely is easier to make a list of games I have finished.

Though with games like Aggressive Inline... what exactly is finished?!

So what I really do wanna finish:

- Skyrim

- Resident Evil series (1, zero and 2 Claire side finished)

- Epic Mickey

- Zelda, Skyward Sword (Stuck the boss before the end boss, brilliant!)

- Skylanders (Wii, this requires me to take my skylanders to my parents... it's their game...)

- Skylanders (3DS)

And a whole bunch of other games -sigh-

These are the current ones though I guess.

I consider this taken care off. Now just to go play and finish those games!

I get the same feeling sometime about going out. I usually just push through it because I know I'll enjoy myself once I'm out of the house. I also tell myself I'll only be there for an hour or so and end up staying WAY later. :D

Training skipped thanks to illness. Will try again today.

After getting home I took a double dose of pain meds and watched 1408.

I went to bed at like 8:15pm. So yeah feeling like crap, I'm excused from not doing much of anything.


Today's Tasks

1. Work for at least 5 solid hours (5 XP)

2. Clean kitchen & living room (5 XP)

3. Sign up at Backloggery and start making a real list of games! (5 XP)

Today's Training

- Press, 6.2 kg/hand: 8, 5 (5 XP)

- Rows, 6.2 kg/hand: 8, 5 (5 XP)

(another try at actually doing this)

I need to take care of this (5 XP each)

- Cancel useless insurance

- Unfuck kitchen cabinet

- Scan papers from vacation trips

- Sort out photos from my camera

- Finish up my website

- Organize my online life

- Consider where I spend my time

- Research new washing machine & dryer

Today isn't much better. After getting to work I took pain meds and just kind of dragging myself along here.

(Did you know that reporting in ill costs me leave time?! Like 0.21 hour for each sick day. This has started since this year, only everyone failed to mention it?!)
