Tom Kenobi
Not going to get this one all prettied up this time. Going to be short, sweet, maybe a bit dirty and sweaty.Goal # 1: 3001 Pull Ups by Dec 31, 2012.Current Pull Count: 2078 (pre-workout today). This goal alone will be keeping me on point and focused. Yes, I know the challenge ends officially on the 24th. I'm extending mine through year-end.Goal #2: Full body workouts at every "beastmode" engagement.Last challenge's 'work my way into it' approach didn't work for me. I'm just going to get up and EFFING DO IT.Mon/Fri: Squats/Pulls/Dips/PlanksWed: Squats/Pulls/Push Ups/PlanksChanging it up with the Push Ups, just to work in a little extra somethin' somethin'.Goal #3: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FOOD.This is the time of year that I start to give in to Dr. IDGAF's suggestions regarding my food. Going to experiment with keeping a food log, and when I can, give y'all some good old fashioned FOOOOOD POOOOOOOOOOORRRRNNNNNNN.Level Up My Life Goal: Passing on this one. I'm currently Leveling Up with a 'lateral' promotion to a new branch and trying to help my manager get the ball rolling there since we launch mid-december. Pretty exciting times ahead there.Points? Tom Kenobi
Workout Report:I took a large step and went right into adding weight to my squats again!Today I did Squats/Pulls/Dips & 30 sec Planks all in circuits with 3min breaks between each set. I am also doing my pulls slow and purposeful, so I chose to start back on my TwentyPull Up, column 2, day 1 and use those numbers to guide the remainder of the workout, except for the planks of couse. The numbers were as follows for the sets: 4, 4, 3, 4, 5.Pull Counter: 2098..... wait :::goes over and knocks out three pulls::: 2101.
