Milythael - Weathering the Storm

Goals:

  • 6 exercises per week of Convict Conditioning related bodyweight strength exercises.
  • Daily handstand work.
  • Eat protein and vegetables every day.
  • Find and keep a job.

The truth is, I'm struggling. I'm unmotivated, depressed, mostly unemployed, and feeling like a drain on the people around me.

The point of this challenge is to keep going anyway. To the many friends who have contributed to my spirit and desire to carry on, thank you very much. More people than I can reasonably list have played a part in improving my life in recent months. In particular, MirGSS, and Nuala, thank you very much for your inspiration, and your pushes in the right direction.

We all get in a bit of a rut from time to time, I'm glad to see you working towards getting out of it. It takes a lot to make a plan, and to hold yourself accountable for it by posting it here. Good luck, fellow assassin, and help is always here for those who want and/or need it.

Was just wondering about you... glad to see you're still here. We all get into these ruts - it's inevitable. It's a big step that you're doing the challenge when you're feeling like you are. Chin up, mily. I wish I had more to offer... *hugs*

I'm alive. I'm no longer in Florida and the future is quite murky, but my chin is up. Now, I just need to get my guard up so life will stop taking pot shots at it.

I don't know about amazing, but we shall see. Babies spend months learning to stand and then walk on their legs. If I'm diligent, it has to get easier, right?

Hmm, kisses or burpees. It is a tough choice, but I suppose we are part of a fitness group. Burpees for the win.
