Heck, in the spirit of monk-dom, if I do my entire karate flexibility workout (including kicks) I'll count that as a yoga session. Word.

Any other information that'd be useful in team creation: I'm a later-night person. This made the sleep challenge a... challenge last time, but it means I correspond better with people in the evenings.

Brief overview of goals:

Fitness related:-

1) Try to complete 50 situps and 50 pushups X2(reps) continously. (Ambitious i know)

2) Continuing my 5 days a week yoga for the next 3 months.

Side goals:

1) Aim to learn French (speaking and writing) in next two months

2) Continue writing short stories and articles for my blog as well as for magazines.

3) Upgrading myself from newbie to amateur in photography.

So this is my first challenge ever and I literally came across this site last week and tried to soak up everything. I even reached out and said a friendly hello to Steve and of course he responded with kind words So let's get to it!

Brief overview of goals:
1. Make measurable progress on my yearlong goals. I want to get to five continuous plank pushups per set by the end of the month. I also need to start pushing the running again. Progress will be slow due to my lungs still sucking, but I want to get up to at least seven minutes of running in every walk. I think those are achievable enough to avoid hurting myself again.
2. Keep up with my character sheet. I am slacking on updating my points, etc.
3. Eat reasonably. As clean as I can afford, etc. Log it.
4. Sleep every night. At least six hours.
5. Deal with my insane backlog of paper clutter.
6. Carried over from last month: learn and teach son to tie a tie.

Class: Assassin

If you follow a specific way of eating: Paleo plus yogurt. Also, I get two cheat days a week because otherwise I fail seven days a week.

Any other piece of information you think would be useful for team creation: I'm plucky!

I flaked out last challenge and left my teammates high and dry (sorry Druids! I'm glad you continued to rock without me!), so no team this challenge. As I'm recovering from a 6 month recurring injury OF DOOM, this will be a light challenge for me.

Goals:

1. Healthy eating. 80% primal, careful attention to sugar. It's my weakness.

2. Rehabilitation of my foot, including any physiotherapy exercises recommended, and generally taking care of it.

3. Workouts which will compliment my limited ability right now. It will start very slowly (this week I have nothing). By the end of the challenge I hope to work up to something respectable.

Life Goal:

Get OMFG v. 0.7 ready to roll out for the beginning of March.

Have a good attitude at work. Smiling and nodding while thinking evil thoughts does not count.

Brief overview of goals:

Strength: Lift Mon/Wed/Fri morning. Decide whether I'm sticking with my trainer, or following something more like "StrongLifts 5x5". Look for me asking for advice on lifting rhythms.

Agility: Cardio Tues/Thurs/Sat mornings. Yoga class at least 1x per week. Karate at least 3x per week.

Nutrition: Primal diet! Low carb/sugar, high protein/fat. Moving my goal up to 90% paleo. Trying to find whole foods options for everything. Diet Mountain Dew and Taco Bell are my devils.

Weight: Finished the last challenge at 291lbs. My long term goal is to hit 220lbs. I'm shooting for 250lbs by June 21st. At 10lbs a month, I'm currently on track. I'd like to destroy the goal. So my weight goal for this challenge is 275lbs. The exception to this would be a significant decrease in body fat, while gaining muscle.

Lifegoals: I'm following Kyecerulian's lead and making this month my declutter month. Removing all unnecessary physical clutter from my apartment/truck/cubicle, organizing my financial life, get back to using my calendar the way I need to. I need to make life simple, so I can be flexible and take opportunities as I see them.

Goals:

Better

- To not get distracted and find excuses not to work out, story of my life.

Stronger

- Annihilate weights and get my workout mass up

- Bench: Let's hit 250

- Deadlift: Let's hit 350

- Press: Anything that I can be proud of without my shoulder screaming :)

- Squat: Reduced weight from knee tweaking last year, but think I can get back to 315.

- Still trying to get to 220 overall. At 205, so if I can get to 212 and maintain a low BF that would be awesome.

I am planning on doing the P90X Normal workout, the first month. I have tried twice before and made it 17 days each time. I'd like to make it the whole month this time and all the way to 90 days if possible. I will most likely substitute other cardio workouts for some of theirs do to time crunches.

I've been reading Steve's site for a while and posted NF in my top 10 fitness blogs to follow. I just discovered the forums and this challenged and thought I should join in.

1. Bring up my sumo deadlift to 285 from 275

2. Get back on a diet regimen rather than a helter-skelter eat when I can plan

3. Stop wussying out and bring my squat up to 165...been stuck at 155 for a while

4. (Personal) I was just asked today by one of my writing clients to apply for the marketing coordinator position within the company. This.is.HUGE. I must go for it. I must!

I eat grass fed, organic, grow my own edible plants, cook at home, bake my own bread... haven't been adhering to a certain plan, but I should be.

I am a figure competitor and thinking of doing a powerlifting comp this year. I likely won't compete figure again until fall and want to squeeze in a mud race and PL deadlift comp before then.

1. Increase Stamina and Endurance: I'm getting back into running, and I want to build to a half-marathon by the end of the year.

2. Increase Upper Body Strength: Let's get some functional strength above the waist, kids.

3. Decrease Waist Size: Two sizes. I carry my weight on my torso/hips, bad for heart health. This means more cardio and more ab work (which I hate).

*Facepalms for not realizing last challenge ended a few days ago...*

*Rebel Fitness Guide basic training routines at least once a week

*Continue more water and try to eliminate beverages with sugar (gatorade being my biggest weakness, and coffee)

*Work my way up to proper pushups by the end of the month (no more knee pushups!) Basically I want better upper body strength so I can go rock climbing and not suck so hard
