TechniquePlan to record 3 separate video days of my squats Nutrition – Carb NiteAlready started as soon as I got back from Alabama.. So that was on Wednesday the Second. So I'm basically Keto ( < 30 grams of carbs) for 10 days. I'll be eating my first Carb Nite on Saturday the twelfth. Goal of one carb-nite/week preferably on the weekend. No screwing up! I get one day a week to eat like ****. On top of that for the next six weeks to really gainfully make progress on losing weight and not have any terrible hormone issues I won't drink for the entire six weeks. Progress StatsImplement monthly progress tracking. Because I'm lazy and I need to at least do something. I'm going to start a monthly progress photo. Already took my first one. Will take another one in exactly one month. I need to set a reminder for this as well. Life GoalKeep Calm and Carry On.. I mean continue working long hours with my side project for a local startup. Quite exciting and fun to be apart of it. I'm just enjoying learning the ropes of starting your own business from scratch while building something awesome. I've loved watching the transformation. Note: Most of these goals aren't anything new.. and may not classify as well on the NF goals, but this is my plan I just like the challenges! I just tried Kel's and realized that the new update killed all links!! I'm going to attach my current lifting plan here soon. It's an excel spreadsheet so it'll be more for my own benefit! So far I've come close to more than 30 carbs over the weekend, but made it! Sunday was right at 30 carbs because I ate some peanuts.. Today's some chicken in coconut oil with broccoli so I should be pretty safe! Kels.. don't remind me beer has carbs, I guess I should've added that for this entire six weeks I don't plan to have one drink! This is great because my girlfriend is trying to eat paleo and I'm trying to go all carb nite. I'll keep the tiredness acknowledged. I'll just try to keep my fats high to avoid it the issue! Hey, its been awhile, we can slack a little bit on the goals this challenge. Nah.. I mean I consider this slacking. After last challenge where I was finishing up SS and did a PvP. A brutal PvP I might add. I BARELY won and I increased my squat from 250 to 330.. Still time to put them in, going completely cold turkey might be hard though?? Why I left a bit of leeway, still need to have a little bit of a life........ You mean cold turkey on the drinks? Eh, if you knew how much I drank over Christmas you'd probably tell me to take a break lol. I gained 10 pounds (4.5 kg) in beer I think. I'm the heaviest I've been in awhile. 196 pounds (89 KG) I'm actually jealous of you elefevers. You could eat crazy amounts and easily gain a crapload of strength :] Pretty exciting stuff! The wife and I took a week vacation during that time, rented a cabin far out of town, played video games , ate and drank our faces off the whole week. That sounds like you gauged yourself on beer 24-7, lol. So ok no MOAR beer for Goodwince, I'm keeping you accountable this challenge, no drinking! Generally from about 8 pm to 2 am I was drinking. We actually ran a bar out of the type of beer my buddy and I was drinking (small bar). New Years I drank soo much, we created a new beer pong-like game. Didn't stop till 5:30 and my DD (my buddies girlfriend) left us both in the car haha. We both woke up at like 9 at the wonderment of day light. So yes! I want to be held accountable!! :] I want to make it to March, but I can at least make it till the end of this challenge! Will do Kel and I record everything on MFP.. I was quite the haphazard person today and kept testing my limits on carbs.. even ate a few chips. Still didn't go over. I'm willing to spend soo much time coming up with dietary guidelines for a diet version of the same PvP. I literally refused to miss a workout going out of my way to make sure I hit it. I added workouts safely whereever possible. I mean it was intense! I think points based challenges with someone of similar standing is excellent for at least my own progress. Right now I'm just sticking to 5/3/1 training and eventually I'll decide if I enjoy it enough as the best for pushing my gains. One day I should attempt a 1 RM lmao. I have to say, I did a couple of workouts with Chad and his 5/3/1 stuff and I was really jealous of how easy and simple the program was. I was tempted, but I don't want to do OHP or Bench to my maxes lol. And carb nite should be fun, kinda what I was thinking if I did do some sort of IF thing. Its like the easy way out!
