Begin at the Beginning

Hi everyone!  So this is my first challenge, though hopefull there are many more to come.  :)

 

Ok, I'm new so here's some quick info:  I found Nerd Fitness about eight months ago and started eating Paleo a little over one month later.  Since then I've gone from 170lbs. to about 145lbs.  I'm joining this challenge to begin to build up my strength and continue to become better.

 

So here are my challenge goals:

 

 

Fitness

Become fleet of foot

follow the C25K program 3 times weekly -   +2 STA, +1 STR

 

Build a better body

Follow the You Are Your Own Gym plan 3 times weekly (I'll be doing the beginners bodyweight workout until my copy arrives)  -      +3 STR, +2 DEX

 

Eat like a huntress

Follow the Paleo diet (95%) -   +1 WIS, +2 CON

 

Lifestyle

Sound the Hunting Horn

Practice the trumpet 3 times weekly (1/2 hour minimum) -    +2 WIS, +2 CHA

Good luck! I did C25k on my first challenge and despite struggling with painful calves, the progress was amazing. Hope you find the same.

Thanks for the warm reception. 

Progress so far: practiced trumpet for an hour yesterday and recieved my copy of You Are Your Own Gym.  I read the entire thing last night (only skimmed the workouts that I won't be needing for the beginner program).  Today I did my first workout session. 

 

On a side note I may be working out 4 times weekly because that's what YAYOG calls for.

 

Haven't done the C25K yet.  I need to get over that feeling that someone is watching (negative conotation) and start running because NF and my future self are watching.  It'll be fun soon as I stop being stupid and just DO IT.
