Good morning fellow Druid,

Our research team found a scroll entitled Meditation XVII. It was written by John Donne, an english clergyman and poet who lived between 1572 and 1631. The meditation states that:

No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee.

This meditation was as true in the 16th century as it is today.

NF Rebellion HQ has been tracking your progress over the past 3 weeks. Your determination to achieve your goals and push through any setbacks life throws your way is an example to others. It is a valuable asset in the quest to make the world a better place. You are part of a group of agents with lots of different skills. It is time that you meet them and share your knowledge with them. Their struggles are your struggles. Their success is your success.

This week, your mission Druid, should you decide to accept it, is to inspire. You have a total of 8 days from the posting of this message to share your life experience and your passion to succeed with agents from other agencies!

As always, should you or any of your Guild be caught or killed, NF Rebellion HQ will disavow any knowledge of your actions.

This message will not self-destruct in five seconds.

Good luck Druid.

Its time for the fourth Druid mini-challenge!!!

The details:

  • There will be 6 mini-challenges in total. Challenges so far: FINDON TIMEEXCEL and INSPIRE.
  • Each mini-challenge starts when I post the mini-challenge topic (usually on a Sunday or Monday) and runs until the following Monday at 23:59 (your time zone). Technically it is possible that 2 mini-challenges run at the same time... if I post the next mission on a Sunday you can continue with the previous mission until the Monday and already start on the next mission. Confused? Don't worry... its not that complicated!    :)
  • Participation in the mini-challenges is optional but encouraged.
  • Why participate? Its fun to play, what you do is generally something that is useful for you... and if that wasn't enough to motivate you, you can award yourself +1 attribute point if you complete at least 1 mission in all 6 mini-challenges (you can choose the attribute that gets the point).
  • Who can participate? Anyone. Druids and any members of other guilds can join any of the mini-challenges.
  • What do you have to do? That will depend on the mission. You can complete as many missions as you like for the week the mini-challenge is running for.
  • Log your completed missions here: COMPLETED MISSIONS
  • Remember this is supposed to be fun... so don't stress, don't let it get you side-tracked from your own challenge and most importantly: HAVE FUN!!!!

This week the mission is to inspire other people. You are encouraged to visit the other guilds and inspire members from those guilds. You will be surprised how much in common we have with members of other guilds. Ultimately we are all trying to better ourselves!

You can count an INSPIRE mission as completed when someone thanks you or replies in a positive way to your effort to inspire them.

If you inspire someone from your "real" life, that can also be counted as a mission.

Tips for this week:

  • Visit the other guilds areas and read topics with recent activity... answer questions, provide encouragement.
  • Visit topics that haven't been updated in over a week... ask how that member is doing.
  • Read the original goals from other members. Find things you can relate to and share.
  • This is not about spamming other guilds... it is about providing inspiration with your comments.
  • This mini-challenge might put you out of your comfort zone... but believe me, the reward you will feel for inspiring others will be worth it.
  • Make new friends from other guilds! Your life will be richer for it!

I did it! feels good. I have to subscribe to people's feeds otherwise I forget who I'm following. I wish I could keep up with everyone... but that's not possible.

all good, as long as it's positive, right?

Ack I should have done that - but you know what I figured out? If you go up to the top of the page where your username is, there is a dropdown menu - choose 'my content' then choose 'topics and posts' from the sidebar and you can go back and find the threads you posted on... that saved me this morning ;)

This was a tough mission... I am going to leave it up a few more days so you can keep trying to inspire people. :)

This WAS a tough mission - but it was good, because as the mission stated it required us to get outside our comfort zone. For me, that meant succeeding at the mission based on what someone else did - decide to respond to my post - rather than what I did. Bit of a control freak - um yeah. I am the "I will just do it, because I know how to do it right. You just stand back and let me do it." kind of person. :sigh:

So I also really struggled with not wanting to be spammy or just set traps for poor unsuspecting rebels, so I could get a thank you. I read a lot of posts before I found a few that I felt I could comment on with authenticity and real feeling. And I just did it and let it go - not! Kept checking back to see if anyone responded... like a crazy stalker LOL. Then after a few days I just let it go - that was hard - because I am also the "I must get ALL the challenges so I can get the BONUS POINT" kind of person. I really need to work on that LOL.

And lo and behold someone came over to my challenge thread and thanked me.

"Gem , I wanted to thank you for stopping by and giving me encouragement, which totally rocks as I have been sick and have had a hard time getting back into the swing of things!! "

What do you know? I did it - I completed the challenge LOL!!! And made an awesome new rebel friend in the process :)
