ZachAcid
To be honest I'm not Buddhist, I wouldn't mind speaking with some priests, or learning more about it in general. On my quest insofar I've discovered that Buddhist principles match my own, and the idea of the Dharma, infinite men; infinite Buddhas. So this made me really sit down and think what should I achieve in my life, what really makes me happy, and what really defines me. So I wrote down a list of things I needed to do, and places that I wanted to visit to obtain a larger world culture understanding rather than my (though expanded) microscopic view of everything that's out there. Barbarossa
Thought: there are Shaolin teacher in the 'states, and quite a few of them are in fact Ch'an monks. If you'd like I could see what I can find on the Dharma-webs for you; while you may not be training at the Shaolin temple, you could train at a Shaolin temple pretty easily (I think).
