Man I'm jelly.

Those warriors have all the fun. Virtual powerlifing meets. A PVP competition to see who can lose the most fat.

We've got the poses in weird places thread (still meaning to download a phone timer app so I can join ze fun). At one point the idea of a virtual bodybuilding comp was posed in the lifting forum before being shot down, and before he was banned Eduard was all about BBing type things.

But I think us assassins do the best pics; progress photos and exercise photos (plus we have the best looking exercises).

...I think....we should have an awesomest photo comp.

We could have multiple categories, exercise, modeled (progress photos or not, somethat that shows YOU), creative, etc...

Obviously this would have to be at some point fairly far in the future. Could do like the warriors and set a date a few months off give everyone plenty of time to prepare.

Totally down with that! But I vote for video. 

Been taking video's since last week and I'm really enjoying it. Sure sometimes I cringe at what I see but then I remind myself that I get to compare it 6 months down the road :)

I think there at least should be an exercise photo category as well.

Pure progress photos suck. That is kinda the point. But I think a category where the photo shows you doing anything but exercising, with how well it represents your progress (at least at a point in time) as part of the judging criteria, needs to be a category.

Good call on the videos. Not sure how that slipped my mind.

When? Mid April now. Perhaps some time in June?

Would we just post the photos/videos in our personal challenge thread or start a new thread?   I would do pictures/videos at least once a month.  So we would have to decide the end date of the contest.  The end of this 6 week challenge?  or June sometimes works too.

Next question from the peanut gallery, anyone have any experience with pre-workout mixes? I need to do somethingng before my runs or else I am going to pass out one of these days mid run. I know I need to eat more food in general (even on my high days I struggle to make 2000 calories unless I straight up binge) but I was wandering if a pre workout shake type deal or wwhatever would help.

Yesss for the photo/video contest!!  My 1 year Nfversary is coming up this summer and I was planning to do a whole bunch of pictures/videos to show how far I've come, with fitness and otherwise.  Would love to participate in a contest, extra motivation to get some awesome pictures and/or videos.   :D

 

EDIT: There is a gremlin in my Chromebook.  I did not post this comment quoting myself.  Not intentionally, anyway.

I like the idea of doing it for the next 6 week challenge, that way everyone can get their starting pictures and videos up before we get further in to the challenge.  And it will give people time to organize and plan.

I'm not sure where to put this, but all of you rock!  Before reading some of your challenge threads, I had never heard of flowfit, the GMB tutorials, sliding toe planks, and all of the crow variations.  Now, I have so many neat new things to incorporate into my workouts!  So, thanks, to all of you who are posting cool videos and inspiring people like me to try new things.

I'm not sure where to put this, but all of you rock!  Before reading some of your challenge threads, I had never heard of flowfit, the GMB tutorials, sliding toe planks, and all of the crow variations.  Now, I have so many neat new things to incorporate into my workouts!  So, thanks, to all of you who are posting cool videos and inspiring people like me to try new things.
