Muryanp
How could i forget it?? (Yeah, my memory is awful) Today was my weighting day!So, i'll open up Day#10 and later edit it w the rest of my day. Day#10 Recaping: At the beginning of the challenge (exactly the thursday before it's beginning) i weighted 116,8kg, aka 257.5.After AngelBlaidd helped me out and pointed that weight changes drastically even within one day, i measured my waist for 119cm at the largest circumference. Was: 116,8 / 257.5 - 119 cmAm: 115,2 / 253,9 - 117 cmGoal: 113,3 / 249.8 - ? (yeah, i'll just compare this one through the challenge as i have no idea of how much could or should i lose)Total loss: 1,6 kg / 3.5lb - 2cm So far so awesome \o/ Back i am. No workout for today, my upper back got better but my lower back started hurting. But no problem, tomorrow i'll hopefully be better and able to pick it all up. Muryanp
Day#11 Still feeling my back hurting, so more resting. The good part of it is that my goal is not the workout itself. All i have to do is eat even better to compensate it until i'm unable to attend the workouts.Hopefully the weekend will restore my lower back. honeysuckle
You might have to figure out some exercises to help with your back. Years ago, I got lower back pain from too much high incline treadmilling, and got sent to PT for help. They advised core exercises to strengthen the lower back and I have had no problem since.Of course, every case is different.Your stretching goal is a good one for the back pain. One winter, I made a poster (yes, I like visuals) of downloaded and cut and pasted fun winter activities to do. Then I hung it up in my home workout area- swimming, indoor cardio workouts, dog walking, skiing....maybe there are winter things you like to do that can help you through your coming dark ages. On that note, it's fascinating to me to be with a team of northern and southern hemisphere members. ...a very strong seasonal difference in moods. Bastet
If your back pain is something you got on a regular basis maybe you should consult a physician or a physical therapist or whatever (but always pick a good one, the back is too fragile and precious to be wasted with a bad practitionner), to identify the source(s) of the problem and get rid of it. You're way too young to suffer from back pain, and that's something that tends to get worse with every years. Muryanp
Think i lost a post or two here, nway: Week #2 1) Grade: B. My back pains kept me from working out from thursday to today, and although i paid extra attention to my eating I don't feel it was enough for the week. So, B.1) Grade: A!! Just checked my weight (thursday may-02, weighting day and all) and i lost another 2.2 lbs (1kg)! Meaning that my efforts in dieting compensated the lack of workouts due to my back thing. 2) Grade: A. Yet 100% soda free. As i said, i actually started this one week before the challenge, so it's been 3 weeks soda free already. Don't even miss it a bit. 3) Grade A. So far 100% of attendance. 4) Grade C. I did almost nothing in the past two weeks, got to get to it soon. Weekend wasnt great. Trouble in paradise. My back is actually better today, so let's get back to the working out.Maybe next week i'll upgrade to Lvl2 Recruit Workout.o/ Muryanp(Lvl 2) Bearborn Adventurer[sTR 8 - DEX 3 - STA 1 - CON 10 - WIS 7.5 - CHA 6.5]{ Prologue | Chapter 1 | ... }You can also find me on Twitter! Damn, time flies..I decided not to do my workout today (MWF).Although my back feels normal again, i'll workout tomorrow night, as tomorrow morning i'll have my stretching class, where i'll test my back just to be sure.I'll do TTS, no problem in that. The big announcement of the day is that writing about not dealing w Goal#4 motivated me to stop lingering and just do it today. So i trashed a lot of stuff at once, organized my shelf, my drawer, divided all my books into categories and emptied one entire box full of computer parts and cables.Felt really great!Got to hit the shower, i'll pick my brother up at his class and hit the bed, tomorrow morning is time to ensure Goal#2 goes straight A+! o/ Muryanp(Lvl 2) Bearborn Adventurer[sTR 8 - DEX 3 - STA 1 - CON 10 - WIS 7.5 - CHA 6.5]{ Prologue | Chapter 1 | ... }You can also find me on Twitter! Muryanp
Day #17 Had some relax time on this day off, went to a portuguese restaurant w the family: Codfish, potatoes and wine from the Alentejo. Also spent some more time at goal #4: took all of my clothes off of my wardrobe, piled them in fitting, not fitting (but soon to fit again) and donating.A loooot of stuff to give away, tomorrow i'll take a pic and show it to you. Today was a no workout day, so this we will check tomorrow. I started to feel my back a little again. Just a little bit, though, i hope to be better tomorrow.Nway, i've got stretching class tomorrow morning, so an opportunity to safely check the status of it with the instructor. Tomorrow i also have to plan my week ahead, for the mini challenge #3.I'm almost falling asleep at the keyboard here. Muryanp
Aweesome news!Just got back at my Week#2 Review and corrected the B i graded myself.Turns out i lost 2.2 pounds (1 kg) after that week of back pains!Just came back from my gym (the stretching class - still rocking goal #3), where i weight myself.I still know weighting isnt the best thing to do, but i do take the care of weighting always the same day of the week, the same time of the day at the same scale. At least it gives me some parameters to track my progress : D Updating: Was: 116,8 / 257.5 - 119 cmAm: 114,15 / 251,65 - ? (will do waist measurement next week)Goal: 113,3 / 249.8 - ?Total loss: 2,65 kg / 5.85lb - ? Later on i'll review the hole day, i've still got to plan my week for the minichallenge and drop by the gym by night for my workout session. And post the picture of the pile of clothes i'm letting go.o/ Back at the end of the day. Day #18 1) Losing weight! I'm feeling really really excited w seing results, not only in the scale but most of all in the mirror and in my clothings. 2) What is this thing you call soda? I have no recollection of it..3) Maintaining the 100% attendance.4) I said i was posting photos but sadly i couldnt upload them :/. Nway things are definitely flowing here. But then the weekend came to effe me up and i ate reaally badly. Monday i tried to pick it up but slipped at the end of the day.Let's see how thing go today. I'll cut me some slack because i'm doing fine in the weight losing, and it wont be 2 bad days that will keep me from going on! Goal#2) Grade: A. Soda free, even resisted some crave to have it. Goal#3) Grade: A. 100%. Goal#4) Grade: B. I only organized a drawer. But my computer took away a lot of my time, it's having unknow problems and I've been spending a lot of time trying to discover the error and/or fix it.
