Elastigirl
Forgot to mention, the flexibility module is as long or short as you want to make it. There's a list of stretches to go through, which are the same as the cool down from the workout days. So I would do warm up, rolling, and stretch in 25-30 min. I might roll longer if I really felt I needed it.Great, that sounds very doable. lyranedara
Thanks for writing it out for me. That really helps me to figure it out. So Saturday is set up to be flexibility which is shorter. I could do 30 minutes on Saturday. And especially at the beginning, when it takes longer (the 80 minute ones) I could break it up and do some in the evening. Rest periods, I'm so bad on those, have way too short an attention span.Really need to figure out something to do-not the internet-cause that sucks me in. You could definitely split the Monday workout. You could do the holds in the morning, and the conditioning work (2 exercises) in the evening. Phase 2 is 6 days of actual workouts.M = Jumping skillsT = Rolling skillsW = Transitions, holds, hollow body workRepeat. Phase 3 is 6 workouts.M = Part A of flow, strength and conditioningT = Part B of flow, handstand transition workW = Part C of flow, strength/conditioning Phase 4 is 3 days of workouts. Each day you practice 2 parts of the flow, and do some strength/conditioning work after. This is 13 weeks of programming. Link to comment

sammiejune29
Looking great!! I hate when I end up being away from a thread for a few days but its always wonderful when I come back and find so much awesome progress I'm sometimes unsure of whether to work out or not when my muscles are sore. Where is the line between no excuses and pushing yourself too hard? Today, I went with caution, because it was a known weak spot in my shoulder that I have injured before, I think it was a good call. Sometimes just taking an extra day of rest is all that is needed. I too have problems with this. But it was probably a good call Posting my happy thoughts; Saturday we are doing my Mother's Day. My son is coming over and we are going geocaching. And my husband ordered me a gluten free chocolate cake. Life is good Yay for gluten free chocolate cake!! My business partner is gluten free and one of our favorite bakeries makes amazing gluten free brownies that we split on occasion. Food goal: Kinda feeling boxed in with this one and not liking my goals I set out. I'm doing great on not eating after dinner-this is a good habit that keeps me from just snacking for something to do. I'm also sleeping better. Sweets are good, haven't had any, saving that for this weekend. But I've used up most of my points on almond butter, and I'm deciding I don't care. I wanted to cut back on those, because , well it is spring, and looking a little leaner would be nice. But, if I'm not having protein powder after I work out, I like almond butter. Im hungry but eating meat right after I work out seems so unappealing So, that part of the goal has taught me that I really just do better with either the powder or almond butter. I can measure and keep it to one serving, but I don't think I want to cut it. Learned some things on this part of the goal anyway. I think what you learned is super super important!! And almond butter is awesome I know I feel better on days when I eat nuts so I just have to make sure to use portion control (otherwise I eat an absurd amount of calories) So your plan to measure and keep it to a serving sounds wonderful Level 7 Half-Elf AssassinSTR: 22.5 | DEX: 13.75 | STA: 15.75 | CON: 18.5 | WIS: 17 | CHA: 12 Challenges: First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Unchallenge, Seventh Link to comment

Elastigirl
Friday I did my play workout. I messed around with a bunch of pistol progressions, with the video's from Lex's thread. Then did some negative pistols, and then for good measure a couple of actual pistols. I also did crow to headstand to crow. And then - (woot!) I was able to do the tripod extension with both legs!Saturday: Did my KB workout and also went geocaching. The park is right on Puget Sound, and it was a gorgeous sunny day. We also had a picnic in the park with lettuce wrapped sandwiches and carrot sticks.
