Being the 3rd challenge in which leveling up is done, and dragons are slain...

Well maybe not real dragons... Because what if they are just really nice but completely misunderstood? You know with all that fire breathing stuff (maybe they haven't learned to control it).

:)

My goals shall be thus:

UNO: Pistol squats. Mine need work... I don't know if I'm close enough to doing them to make it a do it or not deadline. But I can get some good solid work in. So the goal will be 180 minutes of practice (that's 10 minutes 3x a week- see I can do maths sometimes ;) )

Possible points: STR +2, DEX +2

DEUX: Handstand push-ups. This is a revisitation from my first challenge. I didn't focus on them as much as I could have... I paired them with pull-ups and cared more about getting a pull-up but now I want these too. I'm going to need lots of practice so 250 minutes total time upside down. 10 minutes 4x a week plus 10 minutes to make it a nice number :)

Possible points: STA +2, STR +2, DEX +1

DREI: Waking up is hard... Unless you work out first thing :) so I want to make a habit of doing something for 5 minutes right after getting up. Burpees, jumpin jacks, situps, push-ups whatever... Just MOVE. I will give myself a bye for mornings I go to the gym at 5 since the point is getting up moving.

Possible points: CON +2, CHA +2

FOUR: I am absolutely terrible about flossing... Which is silly cause it takes 30 seconds. Needs to be done every night

Possible points: WIS +1, CON +1

Great goals! I love the idea of doing 10 min 3 or 4 times per week, that way you are pushing yourself towards your goal but not setting yourself up for failure if your body just doesn't want to put on muscle as fast as you want it to. Lol

 

I love the flossing goal. It was one of my possible goal ideas but it got edged out in favor of others. Lol

 

Looking forward to seeing your progress, especially towards pistols!

Pistols, handstands, and waking up... Is this my thread? Oh wait, no, because you're actually doing handstand push-ups because you're awesome. But other than that, we have some very similar goals! Also, love the numbering. :)

BEST IDEA EVER!!!  Totally thieving this!  I have such a hard time getting out of bed when my alarm goes off so I am going to start doing something as soon as I get up.  I will need to leave a note by me bed, where I can see, so I remember this tomorrow morning!

Your numbers don't match languages! I know it's on purpose but I have this nearly uncontrollable desire to correct it. 

Besides that, fantastic goals! I really would love to see how you progress to handstand pushups! How inspirational!

Hello BWE :)

Your fitness goals seem to be on the upper end of body weigth workout possibilities. Handstand pushups and pistol squats, I wish I could do those. Hope you have an awesome time during the challenge! Good luck :)

Thanks! I'm thinking if I combine negatives with partial ROM HSPU that I can already do and increasing the range, I should be able to get these :)

Well see I can't do full HSPU yet and I need support for my pistols so thus the goals and etc... I've been CrossFitting for about a year so that gave me a real boost in the strength department. But I still have a long ways to go :)

Gotta start somewhere, might aswell do it now! :)

That's the great part about physical fitness, the room for improvement is almost limitless!

How's the challenge going???

oh I do love a little heart attack in the morning ;) and if it makes a wolvie grumble... well then checkmark for today :D

Life has been a little more than crazy busy (but we all know how I love chaos ;) ) as I was traveling for work the last 3 weeks... but I think it's going to settle back down again for a spell... so back to regularly scheduled programing :) which is also nice as I'll have a little more control of my time. 

 

Pistols - hmmm not so good. I didn't get my 3 times in (only 2) but I will let it slide this time if I make up the minutes this week.

HSPU -  good work this week - all 4 times-  the mini challenge really helped with this. Plus i've discovered how fun (and also horrible) wall walks are. 

Get up and move - pretty good, some days I have to have a coffee before I can manage this but either way it makes me have more energy and a better attitude (always a good thing for me in the morning)

floss - yupper. my dentist will be so happy :)

 

I need to get serious about the pistols if I'm going to make progress...
