Quick question

 

When I do the bodyweight circuit I always find that it's my arms that are working the hardest when I'm actually working out, but the next day I get most DOMS worst in my legs, is that weird?

LOL.  That is an awesome picture!!  Talk about neat party tricks :D

 

@Nerthux -- thanks for sharing the video.  I doubt I'll ever be THAT good, but one would be nice!

@Lowenna -- I would say that's pretty much how my DOMS is too after the circuit, so no, not unusual.  Good on you for working hard enough that you get DOMS, though! :D

First week has been good. I'm still in track with all my goals, although my life goal starts next week so I don't want to speak too soon.

I'm a kg down on the scales (not that I'm measuring that :/ )

Oh, wow!  That video is out of control!   

I have done the pile-of-planks before, but only 3 people tall.  It's surprisingly simpler than it looks. 

 

First week was pretty meh for me.  I'm hoping to see improvement as the challenge goes on. How about everyone else?

My first week was okay. I hope to do better this week though!

 

and WOW, that video of the handstand pushup is insane! I can't do a handstand and I am still working on doing a proper pushup haha.

First week has been a bit patchy.

 

My workouts have produced suitable amounts of sweating and gasping for breath for me to know that they're doing some good, but I haven't managed to workout as often as I'd hoped to.

 

Trying to look at is a good positive though. Three workouts may not be as good as the four I had been planning, but its a lot better than none.

Yeah ! today i reached lvl 2 Push-Ups in my angry birds training, this means next time i am going to try real push ups, i hope this time to successfully do it, i feel confident but i will let you know how is it going, tomorrow i am going to run, so day after tomorrow will be the day :P

Hi, pushup posse! Any ideas on what to progress to after squats, lunges, and step-ups get kind of easy? Ideally, I'd still be able to hop over to the park and do them without bringing extra equipment/weights with me...

For example, I'm working up to a full set of pistols. Is there anything like that for lunges?

Thought I'd let you guys know that I'm up to 6 full push-ups now since the beginning of this challenge XD

I feel like I'm really getting somewhere with them now, my goal of 10 is getting closer.

How's it going everyone?

From looking through various challenge threads it looks like this is the point in the challenge where people start to struggle and things get tough.

So tell me ..... What is your struggle? What have you adjusted to deal with it?

I'm struggling with being sick, and have had to back off all my physical goals until I heal..,again.  I have met with a specialist and they will be running more tests to see why I have been getting sick so much (a throat scope among others).

 

This is definately where the rubber meets the road, though, Tankgrrl: you're absolutely right.

Uff  i tried to upgrade from Incline Push-Ups to Real Push-Ups and i am not there yet, but im doing kneeling Push-Ups which  are surprisingly

 

 much harder than Incline Push Up, what a nice surprise.

 

I'm struggling with being sick, and have had to back off all my physical goals until I heal..,again.  I have met with a specialist and they will be running more tests to see why I have been getting sick so much (a throat scope among others).

Hey go slow, i had a slow week on week 3 and i had to rest, it take a little time to get back on rhythm again, but now i am 100% so, don't worry just focus on you health and you will be fine...
