I've been light on the RP lately, but writing on my phone doesn't make me inclined to change it today. Writing this will hopefully prompt me to do something about it later.

Goals

This challenge is all about building new healthy habits that I can carry into the future.

 

1. Daily Hand Balance Practice (Dex 2, Str 2)

I'm trying to build up to a larger goal in a challenge or two.  For now, I just need to make this a habit.  Work on handstands at least 6 times a week.  Yes, this means I can do it in the morning and in the evening to make up days.  I want to make this completely achievable if I will only get off my butt and try.

 

2. Pool Every Day (Wis 1, Cha 1, End 1)

I've moved to Arizona.  I live in the desert.  I hear it gets hot here.  From my apartment door to the closest pool is approximately 50 feet.  In addition, the very mild reaction I have to chlorine generally makes me sleep better.  Using the pool should help me be healthier, happier, and more fun.  There is really no excuse.  I will spend time in the pool every day.  Any day I don't spend time in the pool had better have a really good excuse, and I didn't feel like it is not a really good excuse.  I can make up for missed days by using the pool twice at different times.

 

3. Gold Medal Mily - Continue Floor One (Str 1, Sta 1, Dex 1)

With starting a new job, moving into a new apartment in a new state with the contents of two suitcases, and being without a car, I'm going to be a bit lenient on this.  Complete at least 1 balance, 1 strength, and 1 flexibility day each week in the Gold Medal Bodies Floor One program as started with Kibcy.

 

4. Perfect Attendance (Wis 3, Cha 2)

I hate starting new jobs.  I've also had a rather extreme problem with depression.  The combination of these two factors has resulted in me missing at least one, if not two days in my first month of nearly every job I've started.  This goal is simple.  DON'T ... MISS ... WORK!  6 weeks = 30 days.  This is a pass/fail goal.  Yes, if I have epic illness or injury, I will be lenient, but it had better be an extreme case.

After talking with you, I was thinking about making #4 a goal for myself in an upcoming challenge. I definitely have trouble working consistently. Depression sucks!

You are going to totally dominate in this challenge!!! I absolutely think these goals are all achievable although I think you should have more points allotted to your perfect attendance goal, given the difficulties inherent in making that happen. You aren't the first person who has mentioned GMB, my interest is now piqued again and I may actually remember to look it up after I finish posting! lol and doing it with Kibcy too...built in accountability....very smart!

Gold star for some amazing work and a bonus for the video! I can't wait to see how things are by the end of the challenge for you :)

I'm really struggling to get my life established in a new location with a new job.  I still can't cook in my kitchen because I haven't bought stuff to cook with.  I need pans, dishes, silverware, pretty much everything.  I haven't bought linens for the bedroom yet either.  I'm sleeping under a sleeping bag on the couch most days.  By the time I get home from work, I have used up all my mental energy and life seems too hard.  That I am feeding myself at all right now is surprising.  My diet is suffering.  My energy is down.  My sleep is horrible.  I'm in a spiral going the wrong direction, and right now, I have no idea what I'm going to do about it.

Remember, baby steps. This week end you'll go out to do some shopping, buy some kitchen stuff, some linen and celebrate that by making yourself a nice homemade meal and going to bed early. You can do it :)

Exactly what Nuala and Kibcy said.

The week is almost over, do what you can for now, don't put any pressure on yourself. You'll get what you need over the weekend and have a wonderful meal to celebrate your first week.

You can do it Mily, we all believe in you and we're all here for you. Don't ever forget that.
