Hey guys  :)

I am a 25 year old female (woman? girl?).

I quit smoking nearly a year ago and picked up some healthier habits.

Among these are exercising 5 time a week, watching what I eat etc. Few months back I gave up on my guilty pleasure of diet soda.

I have never been overweight (1.75 meters, 60 kg) but ever since I started eating Paleo i gained 2.5 Kg!!! in 2 weeks!

I am truly horrified by this new change to my body, clothes don't fit quite as good and I find myself frustrated - I really don't deserve this after all the hard work I've put in  :(

What am I doing wrong?

your advice and support will be much appreciated.

Me.

***For those not using the metric system: 5.6 feet, 132 pounds + 5.5lb gain in 2 weeks (OMG)

Hey! How has your sodium intake been? It can't be all water retention for the size you are though. Are you logging your calories? If you are, are you eyeballing or actually measuring your portions?

It's not 80% diet, 20% exercise, it's 100% diet, 100% exercise. Give it your all.

My journey (Date - Total - BF % - LBM)

2012-01-01 - 242 - 35% - 157

2013-12-15 - 172 - 10% - 155

2016-05-01 - 231 - 25% - 173

I highly doubt you ate enough calories to legitimately gain 5.5 lbs of fat in 2 weeks.  Unless you've been eating an entire jar of nut butter a day, I just don't see it.

1.  What time of the month is it?  Period bloat?

2.  Have you started a new lifting program?

3.  Are you eating a lot of cured meats like deli meat or bacon?
