Yesterday's food:

  • Calories 1980 / Carbs 120g / Fat 56g / Protein 168g (had a Sam Adam's lattitude 48 with dinner )

MWOD

  • Foot rolling with a lacrosse ball

Week 1 Summary:

  • 5/3/1 (4 day split.) Just don't miss workouts. 4 lifting days, 3 running days
  • Cut... it... out... .Track calories, stay under 14k calories a week. (13290)

  • Mobility [7/7]

  • Garden Face lift [Haven't started yet]

If I didn't mention it, My calorie counting starts on Monday -> Sunday. I need to be a little better with food, a little to much extra snacking and tonight isn't going to help as I'm going to a hockey game. My biggest weakness is boredom; when I'm bored I feel like eating and I didn't do enough to keep myself entertained over the weekend.

Latitude 48 is a good beer.  On top of that you had a very solid week too, good job!

Well the hockey game yesterday kinda wasn't great for my diet (or entertainment for that matter), I did some lacrosse ball rolling of my back at work because I knew I wouldn't get in a workout since going to a sporting event pretty much kills an entire evening. Some tools for the yard/garden should be arriving today so I can get started on my life goal (I <3 Amazon) and I DVR'd Defiance last night, so I can watch that while I'm unwinding. 

 

Yesterday's Food:  (Sporting event food is tough to IIFYM)

  • Calories 1907 / Carbs 171g / Fat 89g / Protein 128g. 

Plans for today:

  • lift (squats)
  • short run
  • MWOD
  • assemble tools
  • yard work

Ugh, stress breakdown yesterday night. Not going to bother logging macros but I ate 2550 Calories, lets just say I got upset crammed all the leftovers we had in my gullet, downed a 6 pack and sat in front of the computer all night :(. Did do a lot of work around the yard cleaned up a bunch of logs / fallen branches weeds. Supposed to rain all day today so probably just lifting and house cleaning today.

Also, I too am excited to see this yardwork.  Might steal some of your ideas.

I didn't do any lifting like I wanted to. Yesterday I got a raise at work, so I decided to celebrate with a big ass steak and 2 beers (Leine's Summer Shandy). I'll lift today instead.

One of my favorite times of the year, the NFL Draft! Had a pretty good day, but had 2 beers during the draft so I pushed my cals a little higher than I intended:

Personally, I only follow College Football (my Oregon Ducks team!)

However, it's quite a big deal around this place @_@

Usually I'm all in for the draft, but this year I just never got into it.  I didn't even bother looking at the picks until this morning.  I'm like Gomez, more of a college ball guy.  It's tough being a fan of a mediocre SEC team though...

I'm a pretty big college fan too, my team being Syracuse. Hopefully the new Ducks new head coach can keep up that exciting offense that Chip had.

Hah, I won't, I'm still doing the prep work around the yard for spring first, but I should be getting into the garden this weekend. 

Mmmmmmmm steak.....mmmmmmmmmm shandy. mmmmmmm (?) raise.

Steak and Shandy is a good combo. The raise didn't hurt either =)

 

So, busy weekend outside. Lots of yard work. Did do my workouts, not going to bother logging them as I forgot to bring my workout book with me. Although I did test my 1RM for the SSS on Saturday. Squats: 255, Bench 225, DL 345.

 

Calories for last week were over 14k: 15.2k to be exact so not great but not terrible. 

 

This week is going to be brutal for trying to get my workouts in. Today cigar night with the guys, tomorrow lodge practice, Thursday is Lodge night. So I'll have to try and get my workouts in Wed, Fri Sat and Sun, but we'll see.  Now to see if I can catch up to everyone's threads...yeesh!
