Re-post from join thread.

ShadowMeldFS...or Clark

Goals:

Lift - Continue 5x5 2x/week, may switch to 3x after I finish c25k

Run - Finish c25k and see if I feel froggy enough to start gateway to 10k

Clean - Gotta get house ready to sell. Found out April 1st that I have another child on the way.....Time to clean and fix stuff around the house that has been neglected.

Other - Something else yet to be determined.-Finish reading book two of Wheel of Time.

Diet: Stay off gluten. Same as before, not sure how things are going to shake down now that the wife is preg.

Team: Yup, curious what the hell "die zombie die" will consist of, but put me where ever is needed.

Ran again this morning. Didn't do my c25k because wife washed the ipod and didn't have my tunes. Will restart that back up Wednesday (ipod survived, just dead battery).

Thanks Faline. We are hoping for a girl, but it would be cheaper on me if it was another boy.

Clean:

Finishing mowing the backyard last night before the storm. Fortunately it held of until after I mowed and took the eldest to football practice.

After practice I made him run a lap with me around the track...roughly 1/3 of a mile. My eldest said he wanted to do a 5k with me, so I figured a lap would be a good place to start. Think he was a little too tired after practice, oh well. We will try again.

I think I am going to have to run outside more. I noticed the impact of running outside is greater than the impact I feel on the treadmill. This made the 5k pretty hard on Saturday. Looking for another 5k to do, I have several options, just not sure how far I want to drive to do one.

Okay, daily update. Did another day of 5x5.

Squats: 45@10,75@10,105@25

Bench: 45@10, 70@35

Rows: 45@10, 70@10, 90@25

Not a lot there but it doesn't progress fast when you only lift 2x a week.

Morning gym time as usual. 27 minutes feels like a long time to run. I managed to run 24 of it today....crown and coke last night may have caused a issue or two :P.

Food still going good. Resisting gluten gets easier as it goes for sure, but I do miss pizza.

Up in the morning with the rising sun. Hit the gym and did my lifts...then off to work. Guy at work gave me a variety pack of flavored coffees....made Creme brulee this morning. It smells like coconut :(. Not the biggest fan of coconut. Not sure I can get past the smell to drink it.

Woop Woop on getting the whole family into it! How was the c25k experience for you? I'm only on week three and it's already rough, but I'm planning on pushing through so I can run my first 5k sometime this summer!

Keep up the good work!
