Seriously. I have not run it; all of my work with the race has been behind the scenes...but the energy and the atmosphere and the silly costumes are epic. Speaking of atmosphere, though, run hills, and run at altitude. Quote Filled with DETERMINATIONhttps://www.nerdfitness.com/character/64217 Link to comment
ETFnerd
it's not when others tell you that you can't... it's when you start believing it that should concern you... people with no legs run marathons... Lyra Rigby
As long as you think you can, who cares about people telling you can't? The naysayers are always people who wished they could but don't want to take the risks because they are scared. That's my opinion, fwiw. Quote Link to comment
Actively_Funny
Best advice to deal with haters is to not use words but action. Make them drop their jaws. Make their negativity your fuel for triumph. Moviong forward with your dreams is as simple as getting up and working to make it happen.I ran my marathon the day I decided that putting it off for next year was not acceptable. So, sign up for a marathon and train. It seems that most of your goals are running based, so just work on it. Rest, eat clean, train...repeat. Best of luck!!PS: Save your pennies too, races tend to add up. I'm dropping about $500 worth in races this year. YIKES...but they are my goals and become priceless. Fergamusprime
I've came to learn that people who say you can't, usually are afraid that you will. Jealously of not being able to do it themselves! So use their negativity to drive determination. Weak minded people do nothing but drag you down! Quote Link to comment
