okay i have been focusing on strength and flexibility for last two challenges ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, flexibility is going fine and i will keep on working it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but know it's time to face my greatest weakness ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, assassins don't laugh but it is stamina ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

GOAL 1: Where is my breath

So i have very low stamina and i hate running what to do ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, BURPEE TO THE RESCUE.

I am out of breath in just 8 continuous burpees ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so doing burpee will increase stamina and strength (do you need more).

So starting with 5 burpees i will add 1 each day, except Sunday, so at the last Saturday i will do 40 burpee.

Also i will report how many i did continuously each day and final goal will be 20 continuously

 

ATTRIBUTES : STA +3, STR +2

 

GOAL 2: Hate it OR Afraid of it

I am hitting at two things in this ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the goal is waking up early (currently i sleep till 9:30 in the morning) and go out for a run

So for first week the target is start waking up at 6 in the morning.

Second week wake up at 6 and half hour jogging

Third week wake up at 5 and one hour jogging

Fourth week wake up at 5 and one hour interval running,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and maintaining it for rest two weeks.

Sundays will be rest days

GOAL 3: Which way to the archives

From now onward i will maintain the record of my measurements, exercises done, daily water intake, medicine ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Goal 4: I have 5 months

So this goal is a long time goal and is for this and next two challenges,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i have the most important exam of my life in November ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so i have to study.

I will gain 1 credit for every 3 hours of study ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the aim will be to have 100 credits in this challenge, 125 in next, 150 in the third ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, also to have 20 credits in a week in weeks lying between the challenges ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so overall after third challenge i should have 100 + 125 + 150 + 20 + 20 + 20 = 335 credits

PS : i finally have my TV / computer addiction under control. so to be safe i will be reporting my daily TV / COMPUTER viewing hours

Excellent goals, and congrats on getting the TV and computer under control! I've done the burpee thing in the past, so I know it gets hard somewhat quickly. One day it's pretty easy and next you're struggling for that one extra one. But 20 in a row should be attainable if you stick with it. Good progression on waking up, though waking up 3 hours earlier than usual all of the sudden might be pretty rough to start. Tracking stuff is really easy once you get in the habit of it, so that should be fine. It's just a matter of starting and setting aside a couple of minutes to do it every day. Good luck on your exam! I've never been good at studying, so I wish you the best! I'll keep checking in, so make sure to kick some butt this challenge!

so the update for first day ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but before that ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 38 degree C, no fan or ac, stretching exercises for half hour ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, EXOTIC 

 

GOAL 1: did continuous 8 burpees and that is the total of today,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

GOAL 2: woke up at 6:45 ,,,,,,,,, will improve

 

GOAL 3: well arranged a diary today will be righting in it from tomorrow,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

GOAL 4: had to arrange the materials and downloaded some more stuff required ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so just a single credit today

 

also spend lot of time on internet today but the work was necessary ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

38C?! It was 38F this morning over here. I think I'll stick to 38F: I don't do heat well. Good job on the burpees. As for #4, it's best to get everything together. That way when you start going you don't have to take breaks to gather info or look stuff up.

that was the idea ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, also heat is my buddy can stand high temp easily it's the winter that's my nemesis ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

tuesday ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, busy day ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, whole day outside maximum temperature 41 c ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 

 

GOAL 1: was busy the whole day so only 15 burpee 8 continuous ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

GOAL 2: woke up at sharp 6 ,,,,,,,,, went back to sleep at 8 woke up at 9:30 

GOAL 3: maintaining a diary ,,,,,,,,,,,, made entries of monday and tuesday ,,,,,,,,,,,, but no measurement can't find the damn measuring tape ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

wednesday week 1 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, are you ready

 

GOAL 1: total 37 burpee, 9 continuously yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

 

GOAL 2: woke up at 8 have to do something about this goal ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, any suggestion please

 

GOAL 3: noting everything down didn't took the measurements, have decided to take measurements every saturday

 

GOAL 4: 2 credits but tomorrow will be better i just know it ,,,,,,,,,,,,

Excellent progress! I'm sure you'll nail this burpee goal! As for waking up on time, what time are you going to sleep? It's difficult to go to bed an hour earlier and wake up 3 hours earlier. Your body won't let you. Weekly measurements are enough, just make sure you take them at the same time (preferably shortly after waking so your hydration is roughly the same). And 6 hours of studying is a lot. Once you get used to that (I'm assuming you were doing less before) you'll spend longer doing it. Plus, it'll be closer to the end of the challenge and you'll have to step it up. ;)

thanks a lot for continuous motivation and the advice ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i am sleeping at 11 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, also 6 hr are good but not enough ,,,,,,,,,,,,, their is a huge syllabus ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

the day was a little boring type ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, no specific reason but i had to push myself for everything ,,,,,,,,,

GOAL 2: woke up at 6, then 6:30 and finally at 7,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

GOAL 3: well turned out water intake was a little low today ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, keeping track works

so sorry was ultra busy ,,,,,,,,,,, now there has been a few changes ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i was reserving sunday as an off day as i have to go out of town once a week ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but it turns out for second week it was monday and here on it will be tuesday every week 

 

so the updates

GOAL 1: did 30 burpees ,,,,,,,,

GOAL 2: woke up at 6:05 ,,,,,,,,,,, i would say that aim of first week achieved

Great job on waking up on time! You're making some clear progress, which is great since it was giving you a lot of trouble earlier. 10 burpees in a row is awesome! You're already halfway there! A day off from studying won't kill you considering you had a headache, since you had some good days Friday and Saturday. Just make sure to step up your game and not miss two days in a row.  Great job so far!

sorry last two days were busy as hell ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so the updates for thursday and friday week 2 are as follows ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

GOAL 1: 

thursday - just 15 burpee 

friday - nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, zero burpee

 

GOAL 2:

thusday and friday woke up at 6 and jogging for half hour 

 

GOAL 3:

maintaining the records but putting a zero in front of burpee ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it hurts

 

GOAL 4:

just a single credit for both days ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but things will be better from now because from now i have nothing to do accept study ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, all the engagements that were planned previously have been handled so from now on 6 days a week study as much as i can each day ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

GOAL 2: right on schedule waking up at 6 half hour jogging ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, mostly indoor because monsoon has arrived in INDIA and it's raining 

GOAL 3: maintaining the records perfectly 

GOAL 4: a single credit both on saturday and sunday ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

               chest:98.9 cm ,abdomen:93.6 cm ,biceps:33.5 cm ,thighs:47.3 cm

wednesday week 3

 

GOAL 1: 18 were required i did 18 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 12 continuous though

 

GOAL 2: woke up sharp at 5 but didn't do the 1 hr jogging

 

GOAL 3: going good

 

GOAL 4: still a single credit ,,,,,,,,,,,, it suck man like this i won't reach even at half of target ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, have to do something about it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

TV/COMPUTER 2 hr ,,,,,,,,,,,,, i realized one thing, now i have control over my addiction ,,,,,,,,,,,, but if someone has TV on around me i remain restless and keep returning to the TV ,,,,,,,,,,, will work on it

Hi Saya, I've been following your progress and have a couple questions for you.

 

1. At the beginning of this thread you said you were studying for the most important exam of your life. If you don't mind me asking; What's the exam?

2. Did doing all those Burpee, Burpees? what is the plural?, help build your stamina?

3. About your goal of waking up at 6:00 AM. You are making sure you get 8 hours of sleep aren't you? A regular bedtime is important too. I'm up at 5:00 AM and in bed at 9:00 PM. I'm told I'm missing a lot of good TV shows but it turns out I don't really care about fictitious people and their fake lives. I'm much happier being active in my life.
