Great update!

 

My current favorite green shake:

 

water or rice milk

pear

fresh ginger

banana

green apple

cucumber

kale or spinach

hemp seeds (for protein)

 

mmmm the pear and ginger are delicious!!

 

Also, not sure if you eat rice cakes or almond butter, but one of the weirdest snacks I eat that I LOVE is a rice cake with almond butter, sauerkraut, and cayenne pepper. Delicious.

I made a last correction at 5 in the morning. Printed the theses at 7:30 and presented it at 10:30

That means I still made it even with all the procrastinating. And it was awesome. I am very tired and very happy!

First big demon slayed!

I spent the last 3 days with sleeping and recreation. 

Meditating and thinking about what you do and what you want can be sooo helpful.

 

Day 22 report:

Meditation: 21 of 22

Procrastination: 1 demon has been slaughtered. 2 to go. The first(and probably worst) exam is in exactly 3 weeks.

Food: I ate loads of cooked food and meat the last week. I had to because I lost a lot of weight. Actually what makes me sick the most at the moment are bananas and shakes.

I will work towards a vegan diet with a huge raw part. 

Sports: No Sports last week.

 

My life is changing and challenging me with opportunities(2 diploma thesises and a PhD) and I have no idea which to choose...

I dont want to complain, I'm just confused...

 

I will figure it out while slaughtering some demons!

I deleted them...

 

I made some big progress at work again and spent much time there. Actually I have not done much for the exams until now.

 

But I worked a 24 hour shift from morning to morning and didnt sleep until 6 in the evening without feeling too tired. The diet change seems to work.

 

Day 29 update:

 

Meditation: 27 of 29

Procrastination: 1 down, 2 to go. Things will be fine.

Food: I am eating cooked food and sometimes meat again. I felt great, but lost oo much weight. Still no dairy at all. I am working a lot on why I eat and stuff like theat. At the moment I would like to just eat for pleasure and taste, but I need more food to maintain weight...

Sports: Still not enough. It feels great to do a workout... I think I will incorporate crossfit again when I figured my diet and health out.

Aaah. I hate exam time. And I procrastinated a lot. It was really bad and I didn't recognize the mad, insecure and weird Guy this demon made of me.

Actually I traced something down  that day. Now I just have to chop the "I don't deserve  good grades or that success" head off and burn it. Actually I did not expect a problem about self esteem to be at the root...

I will do self forgiving and self acceptance exercises. And I do deserve success! :panda:

So I am making progress but it took too long. 3 exams next week, I will get 2 safe home. That is ok. I still can graduate in spring if I get 5 of 6 now...

 

Day 37 update:

 

Meditation: 34 of 37

Procrastination: 1 down, 2 to go. Aaaaah. I need a hideout!

Food: I gained some weight again and feel better. But far to much bread and gluten stuff. Actually I did not have meat for nearly a week and do not really miss it. Just the taste of barbecue sauce on something grilled... And Hamburgers...

Sports: Cut that nearly completely. Not good...

Day 42 update:

 

Meditation: 39 of 42

Procrastination: 1 down, 2 to go.  Both are due to next challenge. I will take 2 big heads on wednesday.

Food: Who has read about Bi Gu? My apetite increased and I feel good.

Sports: Cut that nearly completely. Not good...

 

1st exam is in 9 hours. I will fail it very bad. It is a very hard one. But if I  get all the others I can write it while working on my master thesis. I will get the others because I deserve it.

Final update(same as Yesterday):

 

Meditation: 39 of 42

Thats an A. I have to work on spending the time in deep meditation instead of justing counting hours I sat.

Procrastination: 1 down, 2 to go. 

As I still procrastinated a lot and my exams suffer from this it is a C. I slayed a demon! And I will take the other 2 in the next weeks. But there are new ones coming up.

Food: Still working on that. Since I was strict and made my experiences its a A.

For the future I have to reduce or cut out gluten again. Acne sucks.

Sports: Was lousy in the first half. nothing in the second. F

 

Overall: C+

2 week goals for the break:

 

  1. Survive exam period and get all but the one I failed today
  2. Prepare the thesis for slaying demon 2
  3. Get a diet plan. Vegan and no grain sounds pretty impossible to me. I will cut out gluten to feel better and then decide which will be reduced and which cut completely.
  4. Get some Workouts done again.

I got 2 of the three other exams done for sure.

 

One might be failed or done.. I will see. But writing it after failing due to 0.5 of 100 points and going to the doctor the next 4 times is already a big win!

I have a gluten free vegan friend, who eats a lot of raw. Her food is amazing. But yes, it's difficult to do well, especially if you are so busy...

 

Good luck on all of the work you are doing, and take good care of yourself! Failing exams sucks, but it might be par for the course... it sounds like you are making a lot of great progress making the thesis (theses?)! That is very impressive.
