Still more to go through. Got all the laundry done and then went off to the parents house for Father's day. Oh and grocery shopping for the week. Do you have any pictures of your Jeep? I got a 2007 JK a few months ago and have been starting to work on it. So far, I've done just practical things - an underseat storage box, silverstar headlights and fogs, a trailer hitch, and a soft case for the front freedom panels.

Of course! So far she only has the 2 inch lift. Her new tires are sitting in a friends garage until her 3.5 inch lift is ordered. Which I was on the phone for tonight. Repainted her fenders and added tow hooks and a new soft top. She also carries a beach chair and boogie board =) Other upgrades to be decided later.. after I purchase my scuba reg and computer =)

Day 28:

sucked. well the weather sucked. low pressure systems = hip pain like crazy! No workout today - maybe tomorrow. It freaking hurt to walk today. Hate hate hate those days.

on the brighter side - most paleo eaters can now laugh at the next paragraph

Roommates decided they wanted sushi for dinner. Again my brain decides "Hey! we'll make it a cheat night and order a sushi roll instead of sashimi". So I order "crazy white tuna". It's got everything I like. Spicy tuna, Spicy whitefish, Spicy salmon, avocado, crab meat etc and ya know the regular seaweed and rice wrap... So I eat a bite.. It's chewy and just BLEH!!! I'm like shoot - :( So started eating my salad and veggies..

and then decided not to waste the roll and took everything off the top.. and everything from inside.. and it tasted GREAT!!! what? wait? I don't like rice anymore?! WTF!? So looks like I'll be creating a new paleo roll next time I am there with yummy inside stuff but the roll of cucumber. Need to work on ideas :)

Breakfast: protein shake

Snack: protein shake and nectarine

Lunch: ham, squash, sweet potato and pineapple

Snack: protein bar

Dinner: one bite sushi roll which then converted into just sashimi insides on my plate, small salad with ginger dressing and 2 cups hibatchi veggies

Beverage(s): 81 ounces of water

Hahaha I loved your sushi story. Sorry about your hip! Under certain weather conditions, I get ready bad pain in my collarbone from an old break/dislocation. I hope you feel better today!

lol thanks Crooked ^_^

hip isn't quite there today - but now shooting for Wednesday... or at least hope it's 100% for scuba on Sunday! =)

Day 29:

Well... the day started out busy as heck. End of month in the banking world is no joke for sure! Wow. However, about 4pm more afternoon storms and low pressure bugged out my hip yet again. *sigh* So much for getting 3 days of BW in this week. I'm hoping to get at least two in still and then saving some energy for scuba diving on Sunday. Will have to wait and see what happens. Hip replacements are apparently picky about the weather. FTL! I REALLY want to be able to dive Sunday :(

Breakfast: protein shake

Snack: protein shake and watermelon

Lunch: ham, squash, sweet potato and pineapple

Snack: protein bar

Dinner: ground turkey with taco seasoning over spinach with some salsa

Beverage(s): 88 ounces of water

Oh my god this. I work at a law firm but most of my work is for bankers and it's nightmarish at times.

Just out of curiosity, what's in your protein shakes? I've noticed they're really a staple of your diet. I'm debating if I want to try incorporating them for days when I'm too busy to really make food properly.

Not the best shakes but I'm just trying to keep protein up for now. I was eating almonds or other nuts twice a day for snack with fruit but dentist said no nuts for a month.. and well breakfast is because I like sleeping in and I'm not overly fond of eggs :P So basically just a regular protein powder from GNC for now. They had buy one get one half off so wasn't too pricey. My friend at work gave me a website link for another that I've got to track down as it has more protein and HOLY MOLY smells fabulous! yeah.. the paper with the site address is at work :P

Day 30:

Holy cow! A month into the challenge already! Well today was slightly better hip day than past two days.. but still no lunges, squats or even stairs at work.. Ugh. I realize the earth / grass / plants etc needs the rain but geez! Enough already this week! At least we're one more day closer to the weekend =)

Breakfast: protein shake

Snack: protein shake and watermelon

Lunch: tuna and green peppers with spinach salad

Snack: protein bar

Dinner: ground hamburger with taco seasoning over spinach with some salsa

Beverage(s): 75 ounces of water, 8 oz black coffee

Finally got a chance to look at this (no twitter at work). Very nice. I have a 4-door hardtop. I'll most like do a 2-2.5" lift down the road. Next up for me is a bike rack, then a bumper upgrade so I can put some lights up there.

Day 31:

Hurray hip is still kicking my ass this week =( Not real happy about it so upped my Alleve and trying to make it through the week. A bit behind on updating posts but life happens =)

Breakfast: protein shake

Snack: protein shake and watermelon

Lunch: tuna and green peppers with spinach salad

Snack: protein bar and blueberries

Dinner: a wrap without the wrap (ie: ate the insides of a sammich minus sammich) ham, spicy ham, spring greens, pesto, guacamole and small whey protein shake with banana, peanut butter and chocolate

Beverage(s): 75 ounces of water

Day 32:

Hip was feeling better Friday morning - leaving work I decided to take the stairs - down only - 3 flights. My hip decided that was a terrible idea and I paid for it for several hours after work and again upped my Alleve. Now I'm officially taking it easy the rest of Friday and Saturday so I can hopefully dive Sunday... It's fricken paid for already! After work meet a whole bunch of Jeepers at the local grocery store and we headed out a few miles down the road to the Harley Davidson dealership for Bike night with our Jeeps.. :P Yes Jeeps on Bike night - I'm sure we got a few strange looks. Won a tee shirt, dog tag and coozie in the raffle and then headed out after grabbing beer and a cheat dinner to my friend's bday part. Got home at 3am tired as heck... but seriously great night. I'll try to post some pics later - heading out now for lunch (on Saturday) with Mom.

Breakfast: protein shake

Snack: protein shake and watermelon

Lunch: tuna and green peppers with spinach salad

Snack: protein bar and blueberries

Dinner: (cheat meal) two soft tacos from taco hell on the way to a friends house after the beer run.. It was 10 to 10 and running out of fast options. I need to plan better... lol

Late party snack: 2 bites of cheesecake and one handful of bacon popcorn (yes, bacon popcorn) lol

Beverage(s): 81 ounces of water and 3 yuenglings

I've been wondering, what kind of protein bars do you eat?

I pretty much went to the grocery store and did a buy one of each and then decided there was about 3-4 I liked the most. 3 of the bars are made by Pure Protein (they have a chocolate something or other, a peanut butter and a caramel something - but can't have the caramel for 2 more week) and then the other bar is hmm... (let me check...) ah yes, PowerBar protein plus chocolate peanut butter. I was eating more nuts than bars previous challenge but ran into an issue with a back molar and dentists said no nuts (or really chewy stuff, gum, caramel etc) until after the 13th of July.. So had to go back to eating protein bars so I still get the protein just not 100% my preference but they aren't terrible. =)

Nice Jeep! but honestly - there's snow in that pic! :P I'd be entirely lost without a soft top - living in Florida going topless is something done with regularity =)

I'll see if I can upload more pics later of last nights get together or some of our beach trips. We have a few milds (including mine) some decent builds (most of club) and a few wilds =)

Oh yeah - lots of snow during that period - my wrists are still a bit jacked from that week as I shoveled snow almost 20 times between my house and my mom's. There was a lot of snow on the ground when I was test driving the jeeps - so it was perfect to see what they could do. I'll eventually get a soft top, but that will be next year at the earliest.

Day 33:

So freaking excited - my hip has 95% behaved today which is a HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGE improvement over the this week. Only a tiny bit of ouchie when I was carrying my scuba tank from the shop to the Jeep. Shouldn't have to lug it too far tomorrow so still scheduled for some dive time!!!! 3 dives off shore Jax! Can't freaking wait!!! Jeep is packed and everything is ready - well I need to go get food ready for the trip.. but then it's bedtime. Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Oh shoot - almost forgot! I went to my sushi place tonight and made my own wrap - they named it after me too - woot! Mostly paleo and rice free haha

Breakfast: I was sleeping... thanks to getting home at 3am

Snack: woke up about the time I normally eat this, called Mom and we decided lunch.. so skipped since it was close to lunch

Lunch: grilled chicken, two slices of applewood smoked bacon, salad and some brocolli

Snack: protein bar and blueberries

Dinner: hibatchi veggies (onions, green peppers, carrots, zucchini), small salad and my Crazy Jackie roll (yes, Jax_BabyJeep is Jackie) :P - which consisted of cucumber for the roll (vs. seaweed and rice) and inside was tuna and whitefish with mango and avocado. Topped with fish eggs and a spicy crab salad. Nom Nom Nom.. I freaking ate it all! <3

Beverage(s): 78 ounces of water
