Vian
I want to do a whole30, but so many of my go-to snacks are full of dairy and/or sugar (lara bars, cheese, yogurt) and I also eat fruit, which is allowed on whole30, but I don't want to pig out on it as I am trying to lose weight and it is high in sugar. So what are you go-to whole30 snacks? Quote "When I can no more stir my soul to move, and life is but the ashes of a fire; When I can but remember that my heart once used to live and love, long and aspire - O be thou then the first, the one thou art; Be thou the calling before all answering love, and in me wake hope, fear, boundless desire." - George MacDonald Link to comment

So what are you go-to whole30 snacks?think about things that have fat and protein. If you do fruit, have a handful of nuts with it. Or guacamole and veggies. Or just some avocado. Meat (hamburger, chicken thighs or breast), hard boiled eggs Another thought is to up your fat and protein in your meals and skip snacks altogether. thatgirljj
For the most part, I didn't snack a lot on my whole30, just a handfull of nuts mid-afternoon so I wouldn't be cranky-mama when it came time to cook dinner. Occasionally I had some pan toasted dried coconut or a piece of fruit, but i mostly stuck to real meals. I also did eat Larabars very consciously post-workout. And what i mean by "consciously" is that I wasn't like "OOOoooo... I'm going to have a sweet candy bar!" and chowing down at my desk. I mean that I was very aware that it was a safer post-workout refuel on those specific times when my schedule was too crazy to have packed a better meal. -jj Quote NF: Treedwelling assasin.
