Aw you guys are making me blush!    

 

As for the bars...

 

Just assume they are all 45# - that's what I do.   If I know I can do exercises with the 45... then the days I inadvertently grab the 35, I just assume I didn't and the body goes 'oh a slight deload today, thanks' and I don't stress the lost 10# since I know I already do them with the 45s on other days.    And ... 7am is for sleeps friend.   -.-  .oO(ZzzzzZzzzz)     (Seriously that's props worthy.  I just cannot do morning workouts lol.)

If not nicer, then at least you think to yourself "at least I accomplished something!" :) but pre7am workouts are rougher than they use to be

It's tough to get creaky bones moving in the morning, but early workouts make the rest of the day go so much nicer.

Hey, just whatever works.  The best workout time is the one you'll stick to.  I like morning workouts, too, because they wake me up and make me feel more energetic (although sometimes sore) the rest of the day.  But do what works for you.  That's ALWAYS best.

Hi there!

 

I am a Noob, considering joining the rangers (I'm still hesitating with Assassins) for the next NF challenge!

 

At the moment, everything is going well, I'm focusing on the diet, I'm working out 5/6 times per week. I strengh train 3 times (mostly with free weights and rope jumps as recovery) and cardio train (zumba or spinning) 2 other times. I usually do so at the gym where I have a trainer since july (before I was only focusing on cardio which was not the best way to reach my goals, I understood :) )

 

I would like to lose weight, and I also would like to join a tough guy alike race in 2014. I'd better be prepared !

 

I discovered crossfit and I really liked it, I will join a crossfit trainings in different boxes of my city in August and I think I will sign up for 6 months in one of them. I like a lot of things to be honest : I like the idea of boxing as well, capoeira etc...For some reason, my attention is into CrossFit at the moment.

 

I will keep on reading the rangers pages, I am curious about the kind of minichallenges you set, the kind of goals and objectives you guys are having etc...

 

If anyone want to share his/her experience, it would be appreciated!

we are the rangers... arm of doom

 

yeah totally RAD (see see what I did there- yeah- uber dorky too)... we do all sorts of things- check the last challenge thread to see what the other mini challenges are- we often go  to other camps to keep our "jack of all trades" knife sharp as it were.

 

 

speaking of doing all the things- I spun tonight- need to get back to doing that regularly- been missing it- I need it.  Did a for time 4 rounds work out today and one on Monday- working out is rough this week- been nice to slow down but I feel crazy without it.

I like the Rangers because it fits my overall health goal of "be able to pull myself up and over a wall unassisted and run 6 miles straight".  Plus, I'm goofy and get bored doing the same workout rather easily, so I picked a guild that will let me dabble in everything so long as I'm getting faster/stronger/more flexible

Anyone know stretches for biceps? I wandered over to the monks and did one of their mini-challenges (yes, I'm aware they don't count but I get bored easily).  They said to do 1000 punches within the week, I did them in one run last night.  I could not move my arms this morning!  I've been able to stretch out the rest of my upper body today, but realized I don't know any bicep stretches.

Soooo I just happened to be wearing my NF shirt when I went to Fry's hoping to score a new 22" monitor.  (Yeah yeah, that's as big as my desk will hold.)    The  "Norton Truck" is there and they tell us 'You can get free capes over there!'  

 

FREE CAPES?  OH HELL YEAH!

 

So we go do this little crime fighting interactive thing and get our capes.  SCORE!   And after that, they've got a big green screen set up so we can take our pictures with Superman.   Wish I'd posed with the shirt a little more forward facing - but still!   Yeaaah rocking the NF logo with Superman!   IN A CAPE!
