This is a summary. The actual goals are in the 2nd post.

I have tried several things in the past to improve my life. Many things were good, some fired back. In the end I still have troubles and problems although I tried so much. Since I regard Paulo Coelho there is no end, there are just means.

 

I have done in the past:

  • Meditation in various ways
  • Qigong
  • Bi Gu Fu Qi
  • raw vegan diet
  • gluten free
  • paleo diet
  • Crossfit
  • Body weight Workouts
  • Dumbbell training
  • Ross Enamaites Infinite Intensity
  • GOMAD( Gallon of Milk a day)
  • Martial Arts
  • EFT
  • Hypnosis
  • Starting strength(Ok I tried...)
  • NLP
  • Various level up your life stuff
  • Many books(Still about 20 here to read)

My life has improved. I feel power(often), love and so on. Then I lack excercise and lose it again.

 

I need my personal mission to stay persistent. The Universe sent me the new challenge rules where I have to define a mission.

 

Where am I now?

  • I will be an engineer pretty soon although I am afraid I won't live of this very long.
  • Since I started listening to my gut things work out fine. When I was still running around full of hate everything was full of shit.
  • I have found love the moment I let the desire and the hunt for it go. I sometimes think like her to much(have to work on that misconception)
  • I really really want a motocycle and a license. And a tesla car.
  • I still love hamburgers, but the last steak disgusted me. Since I cant digest dairy I will ease into being vegan without forcing me.

MY MISSION is to become a:

 

 Warrior of the Light.

 

 

I have to define this since I do not copy Coelho's idea. But it is a great inspiration.

  • I do control my life
  • I know and accept my feelings. I can let go of them.
  • I am one with my nature and can feel when I'm wrong
  • I have my inner voice and I will let it guide my
  • I do trust in the universe(higher beeings...) to protect me and every other being
  • My Reality is created in my mind
  • For now I take great care of this body
  • I enjoy life. I can be happy about the little things.
  • I do love and feel pleasure, but I do not spend my days hunting for pleasure
  • If there is a fight I get it done hard, fast and efficient. I do not feel guilty about that. I work on not having to fight permanently.

My Goals for this challenge will be:

 

1st: Mastery of my mind:

  • Meditation and cleaning techniques
  • at least 30 minutes of vipassana a day.
  • 1 hour if I do nothing else that day.
  • 10 hours total a week. I will do Sunyoga, Kunlun, Contemplation and Qigong, too.
  • Measurement: Days and weeks where I did get this. I do count quality time.

2nd: Transformation of the body
My body needs to be adapted to keep and enjoy these energy amounts.

  • Find the right diet and keep it
  • Excercise 3 times a week
  • 2 have to be workouts, 1 can be yoga or stretching
  • Measurement: Workouts done, weight, feeling, flexibility.

3rd: Living the light:

  • Trust my gut
  • Believe in the good
  • Be conscious
  • Live myself not my rational mind
  • Measurement: None.

 

Level up my life challenge:

  • Slay the demon of procrastination and exam anxiety.
  • Get 2 thesises done until September 30.

 

This is much more than the new mission goals should be.

Awesome goals Sunmage =)

 

I especially love that you're setting a whole goal about being yourself and trusting yourself.  This is something I'm starting to learn the long and hard way, but I'm believing that trusting your gut is one of the best ways to judge what's right for you or wrong for you.  I know I listen to external sources too much, so I'm going to try and focus on this with you!

 

Do you have any idea what kind of workout you want to do? I don't know if you've tried vinyasa or ashtanga yoga, but most "western" style of yoga are really intense workouts that are more than satisfactory in giving you a full-body workout.  I personally love it.

 

Can't wait to see how you do this challenge =)

I love the whole idea of what you're doing With this challenge! Meditation high-five!

I was wondering how the heck you were going to measure your last set of goals, but you're not, so I guess that's fine. Great things to focus on in a more general way though!

Amazing? Call it horrible...

40 pages for three credit points? This one won't be a A...

The other one is important.

Day one:

Had to take a day off at work after drinking 2 glasses wine and having gorgeous food yesterday. I felt horrible but it was worth it.

I became extremely sensitive. Not sure if that's good or bad at the moment...

I did meditate and researched a yoga school.

I was not very conscious today.

After I hadn't drank in a while, a glass of wine or two made me feel pretty crummy too!  Fortunately, it was better after a few days! (Not that that's necessarily a good thing... but I love my wine)

 

What kind of yoga school are you looking into joining?  I chose a hot vinyasa power yoga that I absolutely LOVE but sometimes I wish they had other options too,

It takes long to get used to alcohol again. So I just won't.

 

I have no Idea what yoga school I will choose. Vinyasa might be a choice, too. I will try some...

 

  1. 3 of 4 days.
  2. nothing for excercise, way to much sugar
  3. I'm getting better at that.
  4. Uhhm I will start tomorrow. (I won't...  main job and night shift in the 2nd one.)

Now I feel terrible but its time to sleep. I will be pure light tomorrow and then start through... =)

I am a big fun of Paulo Coelho. Love his books! Somewhere I have the Warrior of Light  manual and another similar book I never read by him (forgot the title). These might just become my relaxing reading after a well lived day!

 

Good luck with your day of being pure light tomorrow. Thats what I am promising myself too! Lets check on each other tomorrow. ;)

Week one is done.

I had a rough start and gained many insights the past two days.

I noticed that some foods lower my meditating abilities.

Also I was not myself the last two days. A demon controlled me and everything I could feel was anger, hate and shame.

Until a year ago this demon controlled me regularly. I can't imagine that even more...

 

By a demon controlled me I mean that I just layed around, lived my anxiety and fears and did stuff I wouldn't do otherwise. I just couldn't resist or control myself.

Horrible experience.

 

 

 

 

 

1st: Mastery of my mind:

3 of 7.
I failed the 10 ours.

 

2nd: Transformation of the body:

To much meat and sugar. Not the right way.
I started a burpee challenge. I will do 1 more everyday.
I need to do some stretching.

 

3rd: Living the light:

This worked out quite good. I was calm and polite during a really hard shift where everyone was trying to bother us.

 

Level up my life challenge:

procrastinated and hid a lot.

The exam on thursday is nearly lost.

 

 

I am not fully back yet, but I will do some qi gong and meditation before going to bed to support this!

It was bad. Really bad. But it was a lecture, too. I hope this will prevent me from not keeping my practice in the future. Hurting people just because you are unhappy is no way of living for me. But everytime someone acts like that I will now consider that he might have felt like me today and try to forgive him.

I'm curious as to which foods you've found to interfere with you meditation?

 

 

Meat and big amounts of refined sugar.

 

I worked hard, but the exam seems to be pretty lost. I felt very bad about that for 2 days.

Then I read my quotes from Post #1. Now I know why I chose them out of 100s.

They fit perfect.

 

I will not give up.

I will prepare the next exam and wait for the miracle of passing both.

 

There won't be meat the next week. But there will be light, pleasure and joy.

I'm not surprised to see that refined sugar is bad for your meditation!  It makes me feel funky and very closed off, whereas normally I feel free and open.

 

Let us know how it goes not eating meat.  I live by meat but I always eat it after my yoga practice since it interferes with my feeling of lightness.

Hey,

 

 

meat makes me feel heavy. And weak and weird.

 

The Demon of procrastination has scored a big battle but I will win the war ;)

 

I'm still alive and I'm working hard on becoming a warrior of light.

I will be at a teachers meeting for yoga, kunlun etcetc and at the sea the next week.

This will help regain my inner power.

Final report.

 

Things have been very interesting lately.

 

  1. Mastery of the mind.
    about 80% done. Thats still an A
  2. Transformation of the body
    Excercise F
    Food: B+
    I call it a C-
  3. Living the light
    Not really measureable but I feel good!
    A
  4. Level up my life
    I took exams I ran away from for 2 years. I failed one and procrastinated one so its just a B

 

I can't summarize everything that has happened but it it pretty interesting!
